Good fit. Very tolerable for a 1 hour class.
Never having worn a "thong," I was unprepared for the way this dance belt is worn. You will notice at the top of the page that person wearing the garment is not photographed from behind. That is because the back of the garment is worn within the wearer's buttocks. All the way up in there. It will be interesting to see how this thing holds up in the laundry. It rides up so high, it rubs on areas I usually only touch with toilet paper, and I cannot bring myself to wear it twice between washings.Up front, all your junk is compressed into a very small pouch. If everything isn't arranged just so, something will poke out to the sides, but once it's all put away, I've never had it slip out in the middle of a dance class. It's not comfortable, but once class starts, everything else we do is so much more uncomfortable, I don't really notice the belt. It is so good to be out of it for the ride home, though.(I’m not going to change the number of stars on my review, but I do want to add an additional observation. This is probably true of any thong-type dance belt anyway. Because the thong strap leans against the back door, as it were, it makes it very difficult to fart quietly. This is not a small consideration. I’m in a class with mostly women. Like most people, if I do have to fart, I would like to do it without attracting attention to myself. Preferably, I would like to let it out silently and time it to the movements of the group so it’s hard to pin the blame on anyone in particular. Not with this thong. It’s more like “PRRRRRRRRT! Excuse me.” or “PRRRRT! Oh, excuse-... cough, cough (fan with the hands), excuse me!” And then everyone knows. It’s kinda embarrassing.)

Excellent underwear for their purpose
These underwear are excellent for what their purpose is which is to provide extra padding in the front to add support and also does help to reduce the bulge when wearing tight clothes over them. They are comfortable and not overly tight yet they provide good support. They are a thong which is helpful in keeping things aligned in the front. I got the largest size which fits me fine as it feels firm.

great product
I see a lot of people complaining about it hurting, or whatever, but make sure you adjust yourself PROPERLY before letting it "hug" you. fits great, a bit uncomfortable at first if you are new to this type of product but easy to get used to. however, personally, the sides of the front, as it goes under me and towards the back seem to be a bit small, so even after making a few adjustments to fit properly, it seems to shift a bit and leave a small open gap that's a bit uncomfortable for me. I would suggest going to a dance shop and seeing if you can get properly fitted and comfortable, but if it's not an option this is a great option for the price. I did use the product measurements as well and everything seems to be correct, so don't order a size up or down based on others' comments. it's supposed to be snug to keep yourself from being hurt.

Perfect underwear for men who wear tight pants/leggings/bodysuits etc.
I wear a lot of tight-fitting pants, leggings, and sometimes bodysuits when I go out to clubs (goth/alternative scene) and I needed underwear that would properly secure the crotch area, especially when dancing. This Capezio dance belt works perfectly for that purpose. It fits snugly but comfortably and keeps things secure and smoothed out down there. It looks great under the tight-fitting clothes that I wear and minimizes the appearance of a bulge (though of course it won't completely tuck it away ;). Even the thong backing was more comfortable than I expected, and it also helps to eliminate visible underwear lines. I'm a 29" waist and ordered a size small, which fits perfectly (if you're even slightly above a 30" waist I would recommend sizing up).I highly recommend this underwear for any situation that involves tight-fitting clothing worn around the crotch area. It makes things a lot less awkward down there and you won't regret it!

Does what it's supposed to, but to say that it fits "snugly" would be the understatement of the year.
"If you do cosplay in tights or a Spandex jumpsuit, for the love of all that's holy, wear a dance belt," they said. "Tron Guy didn't, and he's been mercilessly mocked on the Internet for over a decade." Well, I didn't want to end up like that, so I found this dance belt on Amazon, looked at the size chart and the plethora of reviews complaining about how tight it was, and ordered the largest one they had. When I put it on, the first thing I noticed was that I probably wasn't going to be able to return it, because it wedged itself so far between my buttocks that it could easily have checked my prostate. I didn't have long to dwell on this, because almost immediately thereafter, I realized that the dance belt was doing its best to jam my testicles back up into my body cavity.I took it off and Googled for advice on how to wear a dance belt comfortably, and eventually managed to find a position where my gonads felt like they were being only LIGHTLY squeezed in a vise. It's still mildly uncomfortable, and it will probably be unpleasant to wear over long periods of time, but at least it's no longer immediately excruciating... and it does perform the function that I bought it to do; people won't feel moved to guess at my religion when I cosplay in tight trousers.

I think these are preference. Just like boxers.
I have tried several different brands over the years and although this supports well, I am just not a fan of the big elastic. But I know others who like these. I think they are well made and mine lasted along time. I have had this one before and this is my second. For me it also depends what I’m wearing. If I’m wearing something tight then I prefer a different brand but if not these are more than fine.

Stuffing does not stay put
These are the worst of the belts my son has tried. The stuffing does not stay put even with careful hand washing and hanging to dry. You’re left with just the thin material, with stuffing not where it’s needed.
