Great value for an actual useable pipe
I might this after being without Internet from hurricanes and watching way too much lord of the rings. Yes, it's not too quality. But it is actually a great pipe. The first few times you get some chemical burnoff. But once you both off the finish in the bowl this thing provides a very smooth cool smoke. I even used some stuff called super value poor tobacco and still smooth and cool. The downside is the hole was a little offset so the pipe cracked after a few used of biting down and holding it with just my teeth, but for the price, I'll buy another, and another. I've been enjoying like tobacco in and off for over 20 years, this really is one of my favorite pipes. I do get some weird looks when I'm sitting in traffic and I light it up after a 12 hour shift. I rarely review things, but thought this was for sure worth my input. It's not a high dollar pipe, but for the price I was only expecting a decoration. Once the chemical burnoff I was way wrong. I have pipes that cost a lot more and this thing blows them out of the water as far as cool smooth smoking. Now I know why Gandalf was a fan of the pipe weed. Lol

Important information in this review
First of all, this is a beautiful churchwarden pipe. All of the archs, flats, faces and points in its shaping are executed as well as any high end briar or meerschaum I own. It smokes exceptionally well for a "lesser" pipe, and contrary to one of the q&a posts, it stays much cooler than any of 50+ aged briar pipes I own. It has a good size bowl, but not a large bowl. It will hold enough for a good 30-45 minute smoke. Very light and comfortable in the hand, but I dont recommend clenching or biting the stem as you will certainly leave marks. Now, pleasantries out of the way, there are some things the buyer needs to know.1. While it is a solid pipe that does not come apart, it is NOT one piece of wood...its 3. The bowl is one, and stem is 2 halves down the length that are glued together. While some people say this makes the pipe worthless and unsmokeable, that is not true. Many pipes contain glues. As long as the bowl is a single unglued piece it is fine.....but you need to be aware of glue points and seems to avoid damaging them.2. THIS IS NOT A WEED PIPE! I cant stress this enough. People who want to smoke weed need to stick to glass pipes and leave fine wood pipes alone. Ripping on a wood pipe while smoking weed causes the bowl to get far too hot and does immense damage to both your pipe and lungs with every hit. If this pipe gets too hot, the urathane coating will fail and peel off as well as bowl burning up and becoming cherry charcoal over a longer period. Inhaling wood smoke causes death people.....wake up and stop being idiots.3. The "starter" cake coating in the bowl may be fine for the beginner pipe smoker, but if you are a seasoned pipe enthusiast I recommend reaming it out and beginning your own cake with a fresh bowl. This will allow for proper seasoning of the pipe and provide good heat resistance.4. Churchwarden pipe cleaners are not long enough. As I have found with a few 16 inch wardens I own, you can use a guitar string twisted inline with a cleaner to make a proper length cleaning wand. You can also use the guitar string to easily break up any clogging, though this is very very rare when smoking proper pipeweed as there it no resin. Lesser tobacco or cigarette tobacco will cause clogging, and therefore you will need the guitar string. All things considered, this is a beautiful and finely executed churchwarden worthy of any pipe enthusiast, pipe collector, pipeweed connoisseur, LOTR fanboy or person who simply wants to plant himself on the ground under the old tree out back and smoke away his cares away in true halfling/wizard fashion.Update: I have now been smoking this pipe for several weeks and have found that as the bowl becomes more seasoned it will get hotter in the hand. Some spots get too hot to touch and have left the face (outside portion facing away from the stem) of the bowl black! This indicates that the wood is burning out and is too soft to be a regular use pipe unless you are ok with replacing it after maybe a year at most. Still no moisture issues or wet smoking. I still love this pipe and will smoke it literally to death. Smoke it. Enjoy it. Replace it when it fails. That's what it's meant for. These are not complaints, this is consumer information.

Its ok for the price.
Generally its a very nice pipe. I am a little disappointed by the quality of the construction. Its clear that whoever made it, did not sand it properly and the hole at the mouthpiece is all messed up.You get what you pay for.It does smoke fairly well, tobacco and cannabis, but gets a little hot.

I love this pipe!
The media could not be loaded. Nice construction and a good size. With the steel mesh insert it draws very nicely for whatever you may smoke from it. The bowl is nice and deep, stays lit even when out running from ringwraiths. As you can see in the video, it can serve as an impromptu wand in a pinch

I ordered a second one...
Update: I've had this pipe for 123 days at time of writing. I like it so much I ordered a second one; because the fear of it eventually breaking. The second one had bad airflow and the carbon coating was patchy at best, so I had it replaced without any further issue. Some are apparently duds but the ones that are not are great.I've never smoked tobacco with it, only herb, but I've used it daily for a few months now without any issues. I have a tip for anyone wanting to smoke green with the pipe: put it out between hits. This prevents overheating and will preserve the durability of the pipe.WARNING: Do NOT bite down or attempt to hold the pipe with your teeth. It will crack.Holding it with your lips is (usually) fine.It is pretty. It is a pleasure to hold. It has a very nice solid cherry wood bowl. It is more than deep enough for my purposes (I'm using 3 ball screens under a flat screen just to cut down the bowl size). I highly recommend it. If anything happens to mine, I'll be ordering a third one.
