Amazing device A+
Very pleased with this extension device. It can be placed differently for personal comfort. I’m pretty sure it’s a plus for DJ’s and people who have laptops or tablets.

Useless- returned
The attachment to my single x stand was cool, the thing slid in and was tight. For that it gets one star. Everything else wobbled. It is impossible to wrestle the stand to the right angle. If you do manage to get it flat and the right angle, it's terribly unstable; my computer fell off it. The tray is also smaller than it appears. On Stage makes a lot of fine products; this ain't one of them.

Great build quality. Hard to adjust
The device is solid as a tank, but the adjustment knob is difficult to tighten.

Excellent product!
This is one of the best attachments to the x stand I have ever found. It is easy to install and it looks great on stage.

Handy, but some issues with the velcro and "nut".
Handy, fits into the keyboard stand tubing really nicely, but the adjustment nut that controls tilt and angle is a little weak. The velcro tape included for adhering a device to the platform (in my case a Thinkpad Twist) is stronger than it needs to be. When I needed to take my Thinkpad off, I had to get a knife in between the two layers of velcro to remove it. I was afraid I was gonna damage my Thinkpad! You can't just pull it off. I resorted to cutting the tape down much smaller, but it still takes some finesse.

Very sturdy and reliable support for gear
I use it for either an Alesis SR-16 or my Bose T1 to float them above my digital piano. Excellent!

Not great! On-Stage KSA8585 Keyboard Accessory Tray
This unit worked great for about a dozen shows, but the threads eventually stripped between the extension and the tray. The metal this unit has made from is so weak that I can scrape the threads off with a kitchen knife. In a studio, this might work fine. For perfomances, when you're mounting and unmounting this unit over and over again, the metal is simply too weak to stand up to the rigors of a touring musician. I have to tape it in place at the start of every show. This wouldn't be such a big deal, but this was FAR from cheap. At around $75 (mount, extension pole, tray), this thing should be made from something stronger than pot-metal. There's not much to choose from for this kind of configuration, but if you're a gigging keyboard player, this is an expensive mistake.I only gave it 2 stars because it's conceptually functional, but they used cheap materials. Disappointing.
