Strange Days
Strange Days indeed! I was a little concerned about this reissue as I had heard that the original master tapes were nigh on unusable and that a digital transfer was the source. Regardless this is a great sounding album, full of little nuances that previous reissues either miss entirely or lose in the mix.Highly recommended, now for some more Doors.

a strange fab record
A fab update and the mixes forgot how good the record is. Very enjoyable.

Not bad at all
I thoroughly enjoyed this record after being disappointed with the Rhino gatefold of LA Woman both, I believe, mastered by Bernie Grundman. Having said that I then listened to the Analaogue Productions 45rpm Doors, self titled, and it's so much better. You definitely get what you pay for and all people who care about mastering and sound should look at a few video reviews from the vinyl community before shelling out their cash.

Great.
One of the great records of the 1960s. No flowers, no love and peace, this is dark stuff. Possibly the Doors finest moment.
