WOW! You need this even if you don't think so
Need the smallest, brightest light? This is it.I'm continually amazed by the quality and the brightness.I accidentally pressed the BIG button while it was at about a 45 degree angle from my face at arms length. I almost went blind. It lights up a construction field (new housing plots) at least two times size of football field, completely.I use it as a defense tool when walking my dogs at night in coyote territory knowing it will be effective if they get close. At first I did not realize the power of this ridiculously bright light and inadvertently burned a hole through my jacket pocket.Darker colors absorb more light as my navy blue jacket proved.A sheet of white printer paper at ~1in from the lens barely warmed. A sheet of black paper at ~3in immediately smoked and flamed like a high power laser. Conclusion: this device can be VERY dangerous in young hands. Although 'lockable' with button presses/holds via 3 buttons, any child can figure it out. In fact, as a responsible person, this is a negative point since unlocking is inconvenient in emergencies. What an incredible technology. Wow.Side note: outside pointed up towards the night sky, on MAX BRIGHTNESS, it exposes the air pollution (SoCal) and its shocking.EDIT 8-15-22:I've discovered if you have dark liquid (coffee) in a clear glass/cup you can heat it using this flashlight. Ridiculous!EDIT 7-25-23:This is crazy. It's over engineered exactly how you wish things were. I buy for friends and family as I'm constantly asked about its awesome-ness. A cop pulled up next to me the other night while walking my dog, said he saw a bright light a few blocks over and saw me looking up into the dirty air with this spotlight. He played with it. Almost blinded himself. Then he ordered one on the spot. His police issued flashlight is a joke by comparison. My final entry.

Great little Flashlight. Turbo Bright AF.
Great little flashlight. Just wish it wasn’t so pricey.Turbo 10,000 Lumens tail switch, momentary switch. You get about 7 seconds of turbo about 3-4 times then it’s very hot.Be careful where you are pointing it when you use Turbo, it’s bright AF. Reflections too.Two side switches are for on/off and brightness buttons and lockout.. 3,100,300,1000 brightness and the 1000 setting is user setable from 400-2000lmTwo lockout modes.. lockout 1,2. Lockout 1 locks out side buttons so the flashlight doesn’t turn on in you pocket and stay on, but let’s you still access the turbo 10k momentary. lockout 2 lockout all buttons so you cannot turn it on by accident even the momentary turbo.. to lockout, press and hold the power button, screen will say lockout1, and then 5 sec later lockout 2.. let go to your lockout level.. to unlock, just short press the power button, then hold the power button the light will unlock and turn on to previous brightness

small but bright
What's not to like, save perhaps there is apparently no strobe, beacon or SOS as described in the product description. I must admit I am pleased Nitecore includes a lockout feature, so I no longer have to endure someone telling me my pants are shining. I also like 10,000 lumens but done sensibly. Light levels made even better being made adjustable. Tiny Monster is indeed correct. For those wishing a light cannon, or battery powered sunlight see other models in the Nitecore Tiny Monster line.

Brilliant...I luv it!I collect flashlights for fun and this flashlight is a little gem. It's become my EDC FL.What's not to like, except the price tag. Other than the price, this FL is a little jewel.Functional, compact, reliable and has awesome battery life. Oh did I mention that it's super super bright!

Works as advertised, doesn't get as hot as I expected. A+
I FULLY admit, I got this more as a flashaholic toy/desk fidget thing than anything practical. But, I actually ended up carrying it and legitimately using it!Interface is easy to operate, fully customizable, amazing lockout mode with tail cap still available, BRIGHT as frig turbo mode. All with a great battery life for a single 21700.Really cool, although I admit, about $75 overpriced.4/5, if you can get one for $180 or less, that's a better value.

My Pants Caught Fire With This Flashlight
UPDATE: 3/22/23 I’ve had this light for a couple of months with no problems. But today, I was squatted down with the flashlight clipped to the inside of my left front pocket, like I aways carry it. I don’t know what happened but after like two minutes of being squatted down, I started feeling a burning sensation and smelled smoke. It was me burning!! I realized the flashlight was burning me. I dont know what happened because when I took the flashlight out of my pocket, it wasn’t turned on but it was super hot! Too hot to hold. And smoke was rising out of my pants. The pocket had caught fire and my skin was burned. See the attached picture. This light is being retired in my retire drawer.First Review: The following is my first impression of this light. The size is compact but it is heavier then I thought it would be. The OLED digital display is nice, the temperature display doesn’t seem to track. The temp will show a reading on a cold light, then if I get the light hot by using turbo mode, the reading only changes by 1 degree. Maybe there is a thermal lag to where the temp sensor is located inside the unit. Lastly, if you shine the light on a even flat white surface, you can see yellow shades in various areas of the light beam projected on the white wall. I find that annoying on a almost 300 dollar flashlight. I’m guessing the various shades are being produced by 6 individual LED beams coming out of the unit overlapping and converging to make one beam.
