best small computer speaker i have found. i have 5 of them running for many years

I never got to use the speakers to be truthful. There is something wrong with the sound card, I believe on my system. All I can say is they are nice looking small speakers, and the shipping was timely. They came packaged well also. Jeff

Sounds about like a soup can and a string. Spend more if you want speakers.

There are better options for $20. These sound on par w/ $5 speakers. There's no weight to them and the left speaker slides around the desk just from the pull of the weight of the thin wire coming out the back. Sound quality might be acceptable if you're only listening to an AM radio station, low quality youtube videos, or a book on tape, but these cannot reproduce music with any clarity at all.The only reason I gave them two stars is because they look nice.

I purchased these as a present for a friend...and they did not do what I had hoped they would.I was anticipating that there would be multiple uses for them, but there are not.The one and only way they work is to plug them in with the included power cord. You cannot run them with no power, and not on batteries.They sound decent enough, but I wanted them to be more portable than they are. They will be perfect for work computer, or with your IPOD as long as you are near a power source.They are very cheaply made, and were lighter than I anticipated...there is nothing to them.They do serve their purpose for the price, just dont expect much.

My speakers for my SmartBoard are broken, and these speakers saved me! Clear, beautiful sound! Even the music teacher uses them during her classes!

No bass. Certainly not designed to be audiophile speakers. Look OK but feel awful; made of lightweight, flimsy plastic. Basic cheap computer speakers, not suitable for prolonged music listening, but what do you expect for the price?
