I have been looking for espresso powder in the grocery store so I could stop using instant coffee in my chocolate cake recipes. I was happy to find a product. It is not a large bottle but the price seemed reasonable and I really needed it.However, It has a good coffee fragrance and you only need a little bit to really bring out the chocolate flavor in baked goods. I'm happy with the purchase and will buy again.

I wanted coffee flavoring for smoothies without having to make coffee. This does the trick. Instant coffee in smoothies sometimes is grainy so I was looking for something that would add flavor and not texture. This is great for that little boost.

Made the cake taste so good. Did not have a coffee flavor at all. Just a richer chocolate flavor was brought out.

I use this in baking, and it does give the same chocolate-boost effect. It's just a little pale looking compared to the old Medaglia D'Oro brand. At the time I bought this, the old brand wasn't available. If it comes back, I'll go back. Meanwhile - this is an acceptable substitute.

This espresso powder is great in baked goods to bring out the flavor of chocolate.

I made the best coffee ice cream with this.
