Great blending
I ordered the product to blend food for my 10 months old baby. It blends roti, dal , khichdi etc very well. Only problem is you can't continuously use the blender. Need to use it in like in a 'Whip' mode that we have in mixers. Else the machine gets heated up. The button could have been better, it is sort of rubber making the pressing a little bit annoying.

Reasonably Good Branded Blender.
This review is written after just two weeks of usage of the product. Build quality seemed to okay for the price of the product. It is observed that Philips sells the same blender with more options like more blades and a beaker for blending at higher prices under different model names. Any way, this one is the most basic and affordable out of all these models with just a single fixed blade. On the whole, it is a very handy and basic value for money blender from a trusted brand. Now the cons.1. There is only a single fixed blade on this model.2. There are no air vents to cool down the upper part of the blender where the electric motor is placed. (This might be purposeful to prevent any water from entering the motor compartment accidentally from wet hands in the kitchen.)3. Because of 2 above, the motor heats up and it may take sometime to cool down.4. Because of 2 and 3 above, the manufacturers have restricted the continuous usage time of the blender to just 30 seconds.5. Because of the 4 above, the device is given only a push button type switch. and6. It is a bit hard to keep the push button switched on while using the device though you could try to use the thump or the index and middle fingers together to keep the switch on.An Update: The on/off switch has become sticky and is misbehaving after using the blender very moderately and mostly in accordance with the time limits. It appears that the push button switch is of inferior quality. As the service center is far away, it hasn't yet been repaired so far!
