Awesome project box that was perfectly sized for the circuit and install that was planned. It was very easy to cut Acrylic panels to hold electronics because the listing had accurate dimensions! The thickness of the Plastic was great and the weathertight gasket provides a positive seal that has kept the build nice and dry and the electronics well protected! Included were high quality stainless steel screws that provide a a great look and will not corrode over time. I ended up fixturing it down to my cnc to carve holes to accommodate led holders. I scratched it during manufacturing and it buffed up nicely back to a high polish! This case has held up to the elements in the summer heat, rain and imagine it will do well in the midwest winter. I will be using these boxes in the future for many other projects!

Yeah, I like and use these boxes for various electrical & electronic projects. They can be drilled, carved & etc for any purpose necessary to integrate into a project because they're rigid but with some pliability, and tough too!I usually have a few around of different sizes. If an idea pops up, I check my supply.Possibly the best feature is economical pricing. This box also comes with two cord glands, and two plug bosses, with caps. Really great additions--especially for the low price.I'll certainly buy more in the future, (well, I'm 81, so . . .)

I used this and put in a 12 volt outlet. It is a good and strong housing. Worked perfectly for my intended use.

This box is an exellent choice for anyone who is making an electronic project that will be subjected to a harsh environment. It appears to be made of a tough plastic and it has a perimeter seal where the lid connects with thebody of the box. It has brass inserts at the corners that are threaded for the included machine screws to give a metal-tp-metal connection. Altogether, this is a good product.

I purchased the larger of the two listed, (200 mm x 120 mm x 75 mm), to use as a button box for my PC. The box was as described when arrived. The weatherstrip for created a waterproof seal for the lid is included, but not installed. Took a moment, to manually squish it into place, and the length of rubber cord given was just perfect to meet end to end.Using my surface mount drill press, I carefully and easily drilled holes into the lid and body for mounting the switches, buttons, and cord access I needed. After the first two drills, I felt confident enough, that this wasn't going to crack or shatter drilling the rest. (However, I would still recommend taking it slow and easy when drilling through plastics. If anything, you want to make sure you're chewing through them with the bit, and not just melting it via friction.)Plenty of space to work in the box, and I had ample room left over after installing one power light, 10 push buttons ,and two 3-way switches on the lid. The "prototype" came out great, and I'm looking forward to using these boxes in the future for other projects.This is a good, low priced box, perfect for experimenting with and not worrying about breaking the bank if you make any mistakes or don't like the finished project. A perfect "prototype" box if you will. Like what you did, redo it with something higher grade, such as an aluminum box for for final build.4/5 Stars.
