This is just what I needed to put the USB microscope to proper use. I mean, it came with this wonky plastic ripoff version of a RAM extension mount, which basically means it's just good enough to use as a display stand, but not much more, because any teeny tiny little movement is going to be drastically exaggerated in the zoomed-in view the user is trying to look at!This stand helps out with that by providing an adjustable, friction-lockable vertical movement mechanism made of nice, sturdy aluminum.To get around the 3rd set screw issue some other are calling out, use a piece of adhesive rubber to line one third of the mount ring opposite the set screws. You can even use a piece of bicycle inner tube with rubber cement to do this, but all you're really trying to do is take up a little slack in the mount ring with a flexible surface that won't crush or mar the microscope body. In my case, I always have a couple little sheets of rubber for stuff like this (see https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K7JFXAA).Trim a little piece, stick it to the inside of the mount ring opposite the set screws, then bring in the microscope in from the bottom to wedge it nicely in place, or trim the rubber down (or use a different padding altogether) to get the 'scope to fit in the way you want it to.Glad these mounts exist, I couldn't get around the micro-movement issue with 3D printed stands for this thing either!

This stand arrived quickly and is built very well.I used it to replace a flimsy plastic stand that came with my digital microscope. It is much more stable than the original plastic one and provides additional vertical travel for focusing. As others have said, you might need to add a shim to get proper alignment of your scope in the mounting ring.

This review is for the stand, which I bought for the microscope I already had. It took the microscope from being a useful but frustrating toy to being truly effective to use. It is so much easier to focus and look meaningfully at your subject. I gave it 4 stars because the shaft on one of the adjustment knobs was slightly bent, but it doesn't affect the functionality. For a total investment of around $40 for microscope and base it is an outstanding value. And it comes with a nice case for both to boot.

I'm happy with this purchase. The adjustment accuracy is within my idea of acceptable. It doesn't have a micro adjustment. However, for $11 or $12 it's just a great value. It's good enough for my purposes because I did not want to drop around $150 for a quality stand with a micro adjustment and overall a tighter fit and thus more accuracy. Therefore, I recommend this stand if you're looking for a quality item that performs better than its price would suggest. Oh, and the case is a nice extra feature so that's an additional plus as well.

The media could not be loaded. The Jiusion WiFi USB Digital Microscope HD 1080P Camera with Stand comes in a protective case which is nice and is a solid device, works well as can be seen by the pictures. The android app is OK, it allows pictures and video as shown, playback in the App causes it to crash though.The picture clarity is rather good and you can select the resolution of the pictures/video when setting the app up. I like the cordless/wifi functionality this provides over other USB cameras out there today. The stand is robust and solid, it holds the camera steady for viewing and pictures/video.

I was very disappointed with the fact that the microscope I ordered moved so much on the crap stand that it came with that it was more frustration than enjoyment. So I purchased this stand as a last ditch effort with low expectations.I was shocked & pleasantly surprised!!! Made all the difference in the world!! Great value for the difference and its light! Easily worth the 20 bucks I paid!!! Wish I found it sooner!The only minor con would be I can’t get the entire coin in one view bc the microscope doesn’t go high enough. But its not a deal breaker by any stretch.Very VERY happy!

Makes using your usb microscope easy, only detractor is the focus is a bit loose so it’s kind of tough to get a crisp focus without playing with it for awhile
