Better than IKEA tent
I bought this for my kids (5, 3 & 1) for Christmas. I was debating between this one and the cheaper kids carnival themed IKEA tent. Coincidentally, my parents got the IKEA tent for their house around the same time, so I’ve been able to compare both.Reasons to buy this tent (over the IKEA one):- this one is way cuter. Great attention to detail on the floor, ceiling and walls. The IKEA tent is aesthetically boring in comparison.- this tent has 2 mesh windows, making it less hot. Also, the kids LOVE peeking out the window. It’s probably their favorite feature of the tent! They seem to think we can’t see them when they look at us through the little mesh windows, which they think is hilarious.- the door on this tent rolls up and stays up, which I like when I want to be able to see in. The IKEA tent doors obstruct the view more than this one.Reasons to buy the IKEA tent:- it’s cheaper than this one- it’s functionally the same as this one- based on assembly and a few months of use, it seems to be of the same qualityI am very happy purchased this one. My kids prefer it over the IKEA tent and it is one of the few toys in our house that all three kids love! They play with it multiple times per day and I know we’ll get many years of use out of it. It was the best present I bought this Christmas!Protip: make sure you install the poles correctly. I installed some of them upside down the first time (see photos).

Easy to set up.
My 5 year old absolutely loves it. Aesthetically, it perfectly compliments his bedroom theme and décor.

Provides a personal space for toddlers
The tent is very colorful. I was hoping that set up would be easier, but it does take a while to get the rods through the different sections. This was a gift for my nephew. He shares a room with a sibling. His parents shared that he likes to go in his tent when he needs a quiet space or enjoy his books.

Great Product, But...
So, now that it is set up, and my 3yo son is playing in it, it's a good purchase that I'm glad I got for him. The issue for me is that I either missed the assembly instructions in the ad or they weren't clearly disclosed, but... this is not your typical kids-style "unpack it and it puffs up into place" type of indoor tent that I've purchased for my daughter several times in the past. Normally these kids tents are kind of like car windshield sunshades with a thin metal ring at the boarders of the cloth that you untwist, and it pretty much just sets itself up, and then you twist/fold it up when not in use. This is more like an actual camping tent with telescoping poles that need to be tucked into pouches at the corners. Admittedly it really wouldn't be a big deal... if I was three feet tall. But, I'm 5'10" and have to crawl inside this little tent to do the assembly. I basically ended up just standing up through the doorway and wearing the tent like a poncho until it was assembled from the inside, then lift it off my head and set it on the floor. Once together, the interior poles sometimes pop out here and there, but then are easily returned once you know how to do it. So... this could be a 5 star review, except if I'd known that this was how it was assembled, I would have looked elsewhere. Now that it's actually together, kind of a non-issue.

A favorite gift
This was the perfect gift for my grandson who is a huge fan of “Stillwater.”While this product can be dismantled and stored, I wouldn’t go that route on a regular basis. It’s not a collapsible tent, more something you would assemble and leave standing.I found that by placing it either in a corner or between the couch and loveseat, it was less likely to be toppled by our rambunctious 5 year old. This is a great personal space where he can keep his treasures, but nowhere near large enough to sleep in. It is excellent if used for daytime play.

The perfect gift for boys AND girls
I’m a nanny and I got this tent for the 5th birthday of a young boy that I care for. He loves to learn about outer space and our earth, and I knew his 2 year old sister would want to play with whatever presents he gets; and this rent was just perfect! Both of the children LOVED it! It only took maybe five minutes to set up, and I bought some battery operated twinkle lights to put either on the inside or outside of the tent, to either make it more fun looking, or to pretend that they’re stars. They both went nuts for this rocket ship tent. So much so, they refuse to take it down! Haha!

Great, but could be lower priced
Awesome. I paid 40 bucks for this for my son for Christmas so i think it’s pretty over priced, but my son loves it and it’s really cute once put up. There are different patterns I’d search around for tho to find a better price unless your kid just loves rocket ships. I got this one for my son and found a mermaid under the sea one for my daughter that was only 17 bucks. The style is identical to this one and so is the assembly, just a different pattern.

My kid loves this!!
This was super easy to assemble, my 11month old hangs on the sides of it to stand up and it never bends/breaks. The front has a flap for the door with Velcro pieces at the bottoms to keep it closed if he wants it to. And it has mesh windows on the sides so you can see your little one when he’s inside.
