Good, does the job

This lock was the only one I found anywhere. I looked at Screwfix tool station wicks B&Q and build base none of them had a security look for wooden hinged windows. All theirs were for the modern plastic windows and were totally useless for what I needed. I knew they would be just what needed as my mother had them in her house built in the 1980’s. Your firm was my saviour and they were very easy to fit. The quality was excellent just like the ones my mother had from the 1980’s. The screws supplied made the lock very secure. Locking and unlocking the window when in place took second ie very easy to use.

Used on a small wooden casement window. Very easy to fit.

The packaging was excellent as was the key and screws, however the lock was badly painted and did not appear to be particularly robust. The main problem was that it is designed for square timber frames, all older casement window frames use angled mullions and styles, as in my case, and without cutting and inserting an angled packing piece this lock would not fit or be secure. This limitation should be emphasised.Another Amazon bargain that goes into the recycling bin!Should have paid extra and stuck with Yale.

GOOD ITEMS, EASY TO FIT & WORK AS DESCRIBED

Well, they look good and look similar to the main brands. Unfortunately, after two weeks’ use one of them has broken. The metal around the hinge next to the screw has sheared. A pity. Won’t buy this brand again.
