I'm so thankful for this. I took in a stray pregnant cat with no idea what to do at delivery. After watching some videos they recommended using a calcium supplement for easier birth. I have used this product as a breeder for my last three litters and getting ready for 2 more I do love it and my dogs don’t mind the flavor at all. I posted this as a 4 star review bc I DON’T like receiving a product especially a oral medication type formula with out packaging. It wasn’t broken or a mess, but just willy-nilly in the Amazon envelope 😡👎🏼. Some cellophane and a box would be nice. Give me the illusion that this is safe and not tampered with.

Heard excellent things about this particular brand . A little pricey , but I heard others swear by this brand , so I used it . About 4 days before whelping, my Shih Tzus temperature dropped to around 99 degrees . Day before having puppies temp dropped to 97.7 degrees. The next morning she was fine, but after using the bathroom she started having the chills really bad . About 45 minutes, she was still shivering a lot Ake starting whining a little . After about 45 minutes, whining was getting much worse and I could tell my dog was distressed . She is about 11 lbs. Gave her 1.5/2mg of the supplement. She licked it up with no problem . Within 1 hour she started having puppies . She did so well ! 4 puppies in 1 hour. Everyone is happy and healthy .
