Works well
Adhesive is really good and sticks well. It does keep temperatures lower.

So far it is great.
I bought this to line the inside of my lower race fairing on my 2006 CBR1000RR. I had previously used another brand of heat-shield tape and it wasn't doing the trick. Even with the exhaust wrapped and the other heat-shield tape on the lower fairing the paint was bubbling and discoloring. With this tape I no longer have the problem. This tape seems to be much thicker and the extra thickness seems to be for the insulation layer of the tape.As far as the adhesive goes it seems to be adhering well but some of the edges have needed to be pressed back down. The other thinner tape I used in the past has the same issue. I'm sure the problem is that if they make it too sticky you'll never get it off.As far as my needs go it is working perfectly.

Works well but the glue is a bit light.
Good product, used it to cover a CAI on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Definitely does a good job of reflecting heat but the complaints about the glue are pretty much accurate. You may need to use zip ties to keep this tape in place. That being said it was very easy to work with even on 90 degree bends. The lack of super sticky glue could possibly be a pro instead of a con if you are using it temporarily.

Two Thumbs Up
Works like a charm. We had the glass on a nu wave oven break. We had this thing forever and it is well out of warranty. After applying this tape, it doesn't look pretty but still works. I took the broken piece and taped it on both sides(inside and outside the oven) and is still holding strong after several uses. The oven reaches reaches a consistent 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit anywhere from 15 min to an hour at a time. This thing is rated for much higher temps but can gladly say it works for me.

Poor Quality adhesive
Although this product does a good job of shielding heat, I gave is 3 stars because the adhesive on this tape is of very poor quality. It just will not stay stuck to what you put it on. I used this on my motorcycle fairings and on the intake of my car. I prepped both surfaces correctly using de-greaser and alcohol. When I applied this tape within minutes it began to un-stick. I thought it may have been the surface I was putting it on (abs plastic) so I tried it on metal with the same results. I ended up having to use aluminum tape over it to keep it attached. I ordered 2 rolls and both roll have the same issue. I would not recommend buying this product if you are looking for something that be long term.

Keeps intake piping cool to the touch even after long
Keeps intake piping cool to the touch even after long, hard drives. Air within the space of the heatshields is also far cooler than the rest of the bay. Great item and highly recommended for any aluminum intake piping. Make sure the surface is clean so the adhesive sticks properly.

Heatshield Tape used on my LCD
I used this on the bottom of a flat screen TV as the TV was mounted above a fire place and about 4" past the mantel. The LCD was getting REALLY hot. I taped the bottom of the TV and have my fingers crossed it will reduce the heat. I don't have a way of measuring the heat underneath the tape but am hopeful this will work.

Didn't work for me.
Bought to wrap a/c clutch wire in car engine.Had absolutely no adhesive property, at all. Paper stuck together via static electricity sticks better, in other words. Also, this didn't come in a 'roll'. It came like you might fold a belt... and 3 feet of this really isn't much, at all.All around, was disappointed. It's possible, though, that my complaints are user error.
