I use this mostly for programming in a well lit room. The small size makes 1080 text look as crisp as any 4K monitor. Compared to my MacBook Pro, I can see some backlight bleeding, but, it's not unbearable. As to color reproduction - I'd say it rivals my Samsung 27" 4K MonitorMy biggest complaint is the button to get to the menu. The button has 4 positions: up, neutral, down, in. Pressing up and down is super easy. Pressing in, it seems hit or miss. If there's even the slightest up or down movement, the "IN" movement seems to get over-ridden and the menu item up or down gets highlighted (but not selected)After some practice, it's easier to navigate.The second complaint is the power cord is REALLY short - maybe 4 or 5 feet. and finding a USB-A to USB-C cable is pretty hard. Luckily, my power strip is right below my desk, so, I don't have any issues, but, just something to consider.THE GOODThey provide a Micro-HDMI cable that is truly awesome. I mean, it's really good quality, and not stiff. Again, the color is REALLY good for a monitor this cheap. It's as good as a $300 Samsung, but I have a $500 LG that looks way better. But again, it's about 4x's the cost.The case turns into a stand and it's really good. It's the perfect angle for working, it doesn't take up a lot of desk space, and the case it soft. I trust this case to protect my screen.OVERALLI'm happy with my purchase and my buy another one. The bad, are not bad enough to NOT buy if you need a small monitor for programming and need more desk space. It also works perfect if you want to hook an AppleTV up to it to watch something while traveling. The included cables are good quality, the case protects the monitor amply, and the monitor is small enough to fit into a laptop backpack with a 13" MacBook pro, and both chargers and not be too big or bulky

Overall this is a quality monitor from a good company; packaging is secure and somewhat premium and the build quality is solid for such an affordable portable monitor. However if you are planning on using this as a larger screen for your Nintendo Switch as I did, make sure to use the official Nintendo AC adapter instead of the one supplied in the box since the power delivery system for the Switch has such a unique voltage. The supplied adapter surged my console after connecting over USB-C and I was unable to turn it on until doing a hard reset; which initially made me believe that the console had been bricked. But I would still recommend using official Nintendo power supplies for any external devices for use with the Switch.

Its a great screen with anti-glare. Runs on a 5v battery pack, has thru port charging, Hdmi and usb-c. It even has sterio speakers with descent quality for their size. We used it on a long cross country flight to play movies and retro arcades so the little one would not try to handle the phones to get the screen closer to watch. Its perfect. I hang it on the back of my seat so the kid can watch stuff while on long road trips. Just plug it in to the phone and i can controll it without even turning around. It comes with a good quality power block and all the cables, except mini hdmi to mini hdmi. thats no big deal cause thats an uncommon setup now a days .

I’m a videographer by day and gamer by night. Color and picture quality are always important. This monitor was a perfect budget option for working on the go. Paired well with my MacBook Pro. Have yet to try it for gaming but look forward to it. Only downside was I bought this from Amazon Warehouse and the video/data capable usb-c to usb-c cable was missing from the box. As Mac users know this is essential for connecting the monitor to the MacBook Pro and not all cables are created equal when it comes to usb-c or Thunderbolt 3. So it took some time to hunt down a cable that work when it should have been included with the original product packaging.

The case and cover on this excellent little monitor are made of durable ABS plastic. Here is my rundown:Pros: Super compact, light, single Type-C cable for signal+power+audio, moderately bright, anti-reflective matte screen. 60Hz. Nice packaging w-decent power adapter + cables. Compact/minimalist stand +flip cover. Sufficient rear-firing sound, but not loud. Super thin and easily packed.Cons: A little edge/backlight bleed from IPS panel - but not a real problem, Volume setting is not remembered after sleep/wake or power off cycle (always resets to 50%).Bottom line: Recommended!

The media could not be loaded. Everything about this monitor I love EXCEPT that you have to use the USB C cord that comes with the monitor for it to work, it does not work with any other USB C which is really inconvenient

I use it on DnD nights as an extra monitor .. works great!

While I've had this monitor for almost 3 years, I've only used it a handful of times. It stopped working last month. Power light is on, but no display. I contacted tech support via their web site. It took several weeks before I got a response. The response I got made no sense; it referred to lights and buttons that don't exist on this model, and attached a useless video that was for another model. I responded, pointing this out, and was told to go through the warranty process for further assistance. Since it is 3 years old it is out of warranty. I've never had a monitor fail, and certainly one that was only used a few times.
