Great coverage including for saddle
This did the trick for a rainy day trail ride. About as good a coverage as I expected. The zipper and buttons held it on well and the flap in back covered my saddle. My legs were pretty well covered. The fit is very loose, but that was ok for me since I had a lot of warmth layers underneath. The front of the saddle was still a bit exposed but it probably would've been a bit awkward to get coverage that far forward/high. My only complaint is that the legs didn't have straps to hold them in place. I stuffed the extra material under my leg to hold things down when it got windy. Recommend you bring your own straps to tie down the legs or modify it (which is what I plan to do before the next time).

Size
I ordered a 3x so I could use over a coat for an upcoming trip, normally I would get a xl. I received this yesterday and the 3x is no bigger than the xl I have from another brand of the same coat. Definitely not as Big as I would think a 3x should be. I am 6’2” 225. Other than that it is a decent product.

Nice Slicker, but Very Large
I really like this slicker - perfect for riding in wet weather - large enough to cover the saddle.I ordered a Medium and received a slicker with both a Large and Medium size tag inside. It is ankle length, which I LOVE! It's not only perfect for riding, it'll be great for feeding the horses in the rain. There are exterior and interior pockets, and there is a detachable hood. I'm 5'5" 130 lbs - this large/medium slicker is HUGE - fits like a sleeping bag on me. It's large enough for a linebacker!! I'm returning for a size small in hopes in will fit better.

Great Coat
Excellent for the money. Not sure what some others were expecting for the price. I purchased this specifically for the Kū Kiaʻi Mauna Protection of Mauna Kea movement in Hawaiʻi. At approximately 7000 feet it can be hot one minute and freezing cold, crazy windy and raining like mad the next. Anyone who know mountain weather knows this. Got my chance to try out my new coat right away. Wind and rain like crazy with warm breaks. Coat performed flawlessly! I like the look and feel. Iʻm 5,11 180. Got a large, fit perfect. NO issues with snaps. Some folks my not be snapping correctly. Snaps into legs (so you can still straddle a saddle). Canʻt go wrong for the price. I agree, this is not a hard labor coat but rather more of a wear around.

light weight and comfortable
It is a little large but I am a small person. This coat was the smallest size available. I have only put it on to check for size. Have not worn it in the rain as it hasn't rained since I bought it.

This $30. raincoat failed against a real test.
This coat is fashionable and functional for quick ventures outside. The material had a nice texture and a medium fit this girl well(5'3"). The sewing is sturdy and all the snaps strong. But walking in actual rain for 20 min to store and 20 min back left me drenched .For the price I have had other raincoats that kept me dry. Thank goodness I wore a puffer vest and warm peruvian hat or I would have taken a chill in 43*. From shoulder blade to shoulder blade my puffer vest had soaked water because the rain moved up the slick material to the large vents. The cover flap is a mere 3 1/2 in long. Also I had tied the hood and snapped every closure under my chin but the crown of my hat was wet. My long shirt sleeves also had droplets on them. I am returning it.
