A&R Sports Sponge Hockey Puck, Black

It's basically just nerf, so if that's what you're looking for, this is it. The one I got is equally smooth on both sides - other reviews mentioned the logo side was less, but that's not what I feel on mine. The outer coating is rigid enough and the inner foam is soft enough to make for a good toy for little kids to play some safe indoor floor hockey without pads. Good enough for big kids/adults as well, though I wouldn't expect this to last long against real slap shots. It slides well on carpet and on linoleum, so I'd expect it to work well on any soft or smooth surface.Other reviewers mentioned using this in crafts/costumes and I'd say there's nothing about this that would prevent that kind of use. It has a logo printed in white on one side and is blank on the reverse side and edge. It's all foam so it could be cut up if you wanted to.Buyers should be aware that it is just 1 puck, not several pucks as shown in the product image. But still, a cheap price and prime shipping - it's well worth it.

First, they put hockey clubs on hiatus—so I was forced into stick and puck sessions.Then, they closed the ice rinks—so I was forced onto tennis courts at local parks with street pucks.Then, they closed the city parks—so I was limited to my house.These little guys are definitely an unrealistically light training tool—1oz vs. 6oz standard ice puck—BUT, I can shoot them, full force, inside my house without risking standard decor, furniture or windows. They basically amount to being Nerf pucks—and they're a great (and fun) tool for this indoor season. They also glide very nicely on the carpet for stick handling.They DO have a lot of bounce to them, so be sure to watch where they wind up when you shoot—cuz you could wind up searching behind and under furniture for 15 minutes to find one... like I do... nearly every day.These little guys are a little saving hockey grace during this hockey-less hockey season.

Used these for another purpose besides the mentioned crafts costumes and house hockey. The cupholders in our new couch are super deep which is fine for yeti cups and taller things but your standard 12oz soda or beer almost disappears in the depths of the cupholders, so I was looking for a cheap/simple/easy to clean way to boost my beers and the idea came to me and it fits the bill or should I say beer! Anyways long story long these things are great shoulda got 2 more so we could start a garage hockey league.

Pucks were what I expected but these were to be a gift but do not come in any sort of packaging.

Mom and Dad approved! We bought these for our 6 year old son who plays hockey all the time inside. He has the hockey balls, but they go straight through his net and real pucks have broke the transitions piece to the hardwood floors. These are amazing! Looks just like a real puck but they are soft, lightweight, and slide across the floor like real pucks. We highly recommend!

Our boys love playing floor hockey with these in the house. They glide nicely, especially on hard surfaces. They are also soft so even hard shots don't hurt. They can still knock things over, or break fragile items, but your windows are safe! The cost to fun ratio is fantastic.

They glide across the tile and hardwood like a real puck. Even across the carpet. They are soft so if they bounce off the boards (the walls ;)) it won't leave a dent or scuff mark. I need a hockey sticks made out of the same thing!

Instead of durable foam pucks, I received flimsy pucks made of a very lightweight material with a slippery surface.
