Worked really well with different types electrodes

This is a good quality gel that improves stickiness and conductivity for TENS and EMS electrodes. You can even use it on older dried out electrodes and they will work (need to apply gel for each application) until your new replacements arrive. Even applying it on electrodes you have used many times will improve conductivity and stickiness for a better overall therapy session. It has helped extend the life of my specialty large electrodes (which are on the more expensive side to purchase). The squeeze tube works well but as the gel is used up and the tube gets emptier its harder and messier to get the gel out, a squeeze bottle may work better. In hot weather the gel gets more liquified so be careful when you squeeze or you may end up with a large puddle. The tube size of 8 oz. is decent quantity and lasts a while and a smaller 2 oz. travel size is also available from Amazon. I would recommend this product.

I've been using a generic heart rate monitor with a chest strap to connect to my NordicTrack treadmill. For the last year since I bought the chest strap I've been going to the sink where I wet the band down very well, adjust the now cold and yucky strap to my chest, and then start my workout. Never really had any issues using just plain water, although every now and then I would have to fidget with my strap to make the connection good enough for the treadmill to read my heart rate.Got the bright idea of buying some of this Spectra 360 electrode gel to see if it worked better than plain water and it does!First of all, the price is very reasonable for the huge tube that's going to last me a number of years even with a liberal application of the gel on the strap.The gel doesn't smell, isn't sticky or yucky in any way, and comes out of the well-sealing tube very easily and is easy to pour a line of it straight onto the rectangular contacts on my chest strap. Then all I do is rub my finger around the gel-line to widen it on my chest strap. Once I put the strap on I just mash it down and wiggle it around my chest to ensure good contact. Voila! Good connection to the treadmill. It doesn't dry out or run, so you can do a very long workout without fear of losing the connection.

I use Tens unit pads which conduct the various stimulation patterns. This gel increases the conductivity of the pads resulting in more stimulation for back and shoulders which makes them feel better for a longer time because with this gel I can leave the pads on as long as I want. My control unit lets me keep the pads on up to two hours, many times more. I offer some suggestions. Use some type of plastic or rubber glove, preferably reusable, to get a more even covering of the pad than with your finger without the glove, Wipe the glove with a paper towel after each use. The gel remains slippery except on the pad when you are using it. If the pad is flat on a surface while you administer the gel, wipe the surface after use. It won’t hurt the surface, but removing the residual gel which keep anything you put on the surface from sliding and possibly falling off. And remember, always order from Amazon. The item DOES NOT have a foil seal on the nozzle, nor plastic shrink over the cap!!!! The item arrived, i took the tube out, turned the cap and the product was open - NO FORM OF SEAL TO SPEAK OF! Plus the item smells like HANDSANITZER from hospitals... So far the product does work, but it is HELLA-SUSPECT, due to having nor form of factory seal!

I have a portable (no wires) TENS unit which I use for my back. Replacement gel pads are very expensive and they do not last many uses. I use the TENS twice a day. I found this Spectra Electrode Gel is great to get MANY more uses out of a gel pad. The gel itself is not sticky, but provides the necessary adhesion (place on one of the gel pads that is not doing its job) to get a good charge out of the TENS unit. It is not strong enough to walk around with the unit on my back without something to hold the unit in place. Thirty minutes to run a timed session, so no need to be walking around for me. I get the large tubes and I have gone through multiple in the past several of years. Good product that I would recommend.
