Helps with healing
These are great for everyday cuts and blisters, especially larger ones. They are expensive but can be worn for several days at a time, so you may only need one of these until your wound gets better. It helps that they're waterproof, making them easier to keep on for days. I'm allergic to latex so it's great that they're latex-free.

These have good adhesion, and they are comfortable to wear.
These are a good size; each of the three dressings measures 6cm x 7cm. The adhesion is very good, and I found them comfortable to wear; I would describe them as feeling like a second skin.I found the image on the front of the box a little confusing; it led me to believe there was a healing capsule of some kind in the actual dressing, but this isn't the case. Your wound creates the capsule as it heals, and the process did work for my weeping blister. I would purchase these again to keep in our medical box for our next mishap, of which we have many in our house.

Long-lasting and actually waterproof around the edges too
Second skin is really an appropriate name for these plasters. They're ultra-thin and (after cleaning the wound) you apply directly to the skin. Unlike my usual plasters, I liked that you only need one, which will last for a few days, and remains waterproof (and stretchy, so no water gets in around the edges).Don't worry that there's no raised "capsule" when you apply the plaster - this forms as your body starts to heal (I guess is a by-product of the healing process?).I can't conclusively say if it heals faster than regular plasters, and they are more expensive. But they do really act as a second protective skin, sealing the wound from outside dirt whilst the body heals. And the plasters are a lot tougher and longer-lasting.

Extremely comfortable plasters
I've never had a plaster quite like this one, they're actually amazing. The material is a soft stretchy and extremely comfortable adhesive pad and the inner cotton like pad is stocked up with medicines that apparently help wounds to heal quicker.This has helped immensely with a friction wound I sometimes get on my foot from my hiking shoes. I would occasionally put a plaster on which would barely stay in place and just hope enough had healed within 2-3 days. The one plaster I've tried so far just stayed in place with no fuss and the healing was much better.

Didn't Work for My Needs
I had high hopes for the Elastoplast Second Skin Protection Faster Healing XL Dressings, especially as I’m a fan of this brand. Unfortunately, these just didn’t work for me. While they might perform better on flat areas of the body, they weren’t effective for a large wound on my finger.The dressing is thin and flexible, which initially seemed promising, but it didn’t live up to its waterproof claims. Within a couple of hours of washing dishes, water had reached the wound, and the dressing began to detach. The so-called healing capsule was practically invisible, and I didn’t notice any major improvement.I kept it on for a maximum of three hours before it became unusable. While these dressings may work better on areas with little movement that can remain at rest, they’re definitely not suitable for hands or highly mobile areas like fingers—especially during winter when my skin tends to be drier and wounds are prone to reopening.It’s a shame, as I was really hoping this product would provide effective protection.

Very good
What appears to be expensive is actually good value for money.These plaster stick very well and hold in place for a few days unlike your traditional ones which come loose very quickly.It stayed in place after a bath and these are defiantly something I would want on my medical box

This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine program; however, this in no way influences my review, all items I request are products that I have a use for or will use and the reviews I then submit are intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers.Was hoping these would be as good as compeed and whilst they fall short of that mark, they are certainly much better than plasters for a second skin.Really comfy on and easy to remove abd woiuyld recomend removing as per the images, much easier.
