No issues!
So I learned an important lesson - don't read in bed on your iPad in case it slips behind the bed and gets crushed. Ugh. So off I went to Amazon to find a refurb, since I pretty much only use it to read and check emails, so buying a new one for a few hundred was out of the question and this one cost the same as a good e-reader. So I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best and ordered. And the iPad angels smiled on me, this one is a year newer than my old one, in perfect condition with no scratches and battery life is great. Very happy to find a great deal on a replacement.

I got a good one
Wow! I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger because of some of the reviewers on here saying they got a terrible renewed iPad... I can assure you that the one that I received was in overall 4.5/5 condition. The screen looked brand new, and even the rest of the body didn't appear to have any sort of defects. The cellular connection I'm getting (Ting Mobile, baby) is as steady as my cell phone (I was a little worried that the cell antenna in these wouldn't be of great quality, but I'm happy to say it is.)I've never owned any iPads, but recently got an iPhone and chose this over other tablets because I know Apple retina displays are actually very nice. Colors come across as vivid. Resolution turned up to the point where you're really struggling to make out individual pixels, and the screen is bright enough that I'm not struggling to see this in the car. And I bought this because I wanted a nice, big screen to look at when I'm in the car. One note about the display - it's a 4:3 display rather than the more contemporary 16:9 displays of the Android tablet world. That makes this about a ~9"-9.3" display when watching content with a 1.777:1 or 1.85:1 aspect ratio which are the standard aspect ratios for films/TV shows (which is why your TV at home is a 16:9 aspect ratio!) Back to car use, the GPS works very well alongside cellular data. There are some cool navigation apps available on Apple, plus now I don't feel left out when there's other neat apps for Apple that I can't get on my Android phone. Also there are actually so many good accessories available for this thing because Apple has a small product line in comparison to the dozens of Android tablets and phones coming out each year from numerous manufacturers which equals lots of accessories with not so many reviews.I chose this specific model because it's the newest cellular Apple tablet at this price point. As of now, it's about 2-3 years old. The other ones I found on Amazon around the $200-300 range were as old as 8 years and without cellular, which is why I spent the extra money for something like this. I am happier than I was when I made my impulse buy which is impressive. You really do get a lot of tech for the money. A new 64gb iPad 10.2 with cellular is $459. This is only 32gb, and with a fresh install of iOS you get 23gb available to you. A little worried it won't be enough for me, but I'll probably manage. My only con so far is that the battery had a weird glitch. When you're in a high state of charge, it seems to be discharging at a slow enough rate. I got down to around 40% after using it for about 4 hours after using it to stream Hulu using cell data with full brightness. Then while using it with GPS on and streaming Spotify with full brightness on, it jumped from about 35% down to 20% within a few minutes. I can't complain too much because this is a 3 year old device about 2/3rds the price of new.I got mine from the seller "techexchangee" - came with a 5v/2.4a charger (or 12 watt) charger plus cable. Shipped in a plain box with lots of bubble wrap. Again, from the outside, I wouldn't have been able to tell it was renewed.P.S. On Amazon, I found a tablet mount for a car using a CD player and that thing is great. Highly recommend that if you want to use this in a car. It's the "APPS2CAR universal car mount CD slot" for $20.

Refurbished doesn’t mean poor quality
So far so good. Ran it thru multiple tests and performs well. Value is excellent if the refurbished model holds up to the test of time. Good news is it didn’t get hot running it through multiple actions even with video playing as well

So far so good
So far so good I know this has some bad reviews which may be true, but in my case I got possibly a good one. Now the original one I got was not in exceptional condition but company sent me out a replacement one and the one I got so far is working great. It was easy to set up the color is exactly what I wanted I added a screen protector and the protection it had on the box is solid. Battery life took a bit to charge up but seems to be holding a charge fine. Only reason it gets 4 stars is the original one was messed up and the only issue I have with this one is it seems to get hot if my daughter is watching a movie other then that it is working good and will update if need be

All 3 From Amazon even warranty techs couldn’t fix!
So far so good maybe cause this I pad is an Apple? The other 3 are HP laptops either stopped working or my most recent can’t use it as it has a Administrator password or pin also it was supposed to come with SD card it did not don’t know what the password or code is it’s not mine, it is or who it belongs toI “THOUGHT” I bought as brand New not used but apparently I got charged for New one got someone’s leftovers least they could of cleared it The big Silver one I took warranty out due to bad experience with Red one Thankfully or I’d be without any I had to send the big Silver one back 3 times until it was deemed a lemon the Techs showed all the work done they basically rebuilt the machine but still only get a Black screen the red one the Blue screen I’m seeing a pattern here it’s unfair not to mention time consuming and waiting for a laptop next one will be a cheap one until i can get a Mac when I can afford it plus I’m not I am not a hurry…. But this is getting out of control! I can’t even sell them back as I was told they’re dead not fixable…. Can I please just get one that works and yes 100% I will take out a 4 year Warranty just frustrating I have to go threw all this I’d be happy with a Walmart buy one there least if there’s an issue I don’t have to wait for USPS….

Works, but not excellent condition.
So, the screen wasn’t cracked, and I only found one scratch on the screen, that is barely noticeable. All good, I bought a screen protector. I paid the extra money for an excellent condition, and I was prepared for a poor battery performance. I can get about 4 hours of use with brightness at a medium level. 2 hours high, and maybe 5 hours on the lowest brightness setting. It discharges 10% a day if left unplugged and alone. All that was pretty excusable, I know it’s an older model. What I was not prepared for was the earbud/charging port. If you use headphones via cord, the port is not snug and your headphones can cut off and it’ll default to speaker on the iPad. It can also stop charging if you bump the port while charging. I wouldn’t call that excellent condition. Bluetooth will drain the battery a lot.
