I really like this kit. I make a lot of videos where I need interesting close-up shots of products, so I was looking for something that would sit nicely on a tabletop, but also offer me some real variety and this ticks both of those boxes.Once you've set it up, it's pretty solid and easy to tweak, teardown and change. The accessories that come with it are good too - it really does look like blinds if you light it right!Good price, good product.

I have been using this backdrop kit, on and off, for about two months and find it quite good but lacking in some areas, hence the two-star deduction.The kit comes with a bag to keep all the parts together, so that is a positive! That leads to a negative in that there are too many bits and pieces to use it. They don't 'snap' together so any movement and some pieces need re attaching — not a major issue just an annoying one.To be fair, the description page does say that it is for small products, and I would suggest anything with a dimension of more than 10 cm is too large for this backdrop. I have set it up on many occasions to shoot something, to find that the product is just too large for the shot I was going for. On a positive, where I have been able to get the photo shot I was after, the backdrops have been very effective.I also have problems with the shadow boards, but I think that is more down to my lighting than the backdrop kit.Overall, it has its uses and is good in those situations but falls down with larger product shoots.

I really like this. It’s surprisingly well thought out. The boards are big enough to photograph small items.. There is an interesting selection of backgrounds/floors. The gobos to create blind or window shadows are a fun addition, but I can’t see them getting much use as they will end up making the lighting look the same on everything. I prefer to be able to control the quality of light i.e. hard/soft/bright.The only drawback is that the size of the hinged boards that make up floor and back means that it will be a little tricky to light without shadows hitting the background.Great for someone starting out with product photography/selling on the web. Good for shooting using window light and a phone camera too.Nice touch is the shopping style bag that’s included to carry it all in.

This photography pack was great for me to get the close up shots of my products. The filters allow me to add dimension and interest on my products and its quick and easy to set up for a photoshoot and easy to store safely away. Really impressed with the set.
