So I bought this a help deal with another side effect of the menopause. I manage to sort the internal dryness & then the outside started.Due to the change (something else I wasn't told about & had to learn the hard way) my skin had started to thin & crack which was highly uncomfortable & would smart.I wasn't sure about trying it as I have read a few had experienced a stinging sensation.I was desperate at this point-so bought some.For me personally, I found it to be a god send & worked almost immediately.I didn't get a stinging sensation in any water...more like a mild menthol sensation & that subsided with a minute if that.Just a little goes a long way & I only need to use it maybe twice a week.Every woman is different & so will have a different reaction to it. The only way to know for sure is to try it for yourself & see if it benefits or not. For the price, I would say it's worth a go.

Works but burns a bit on first application

I really love it makes my itchy less and none existing ,it instant relief for me ,it don’t itrate me at all I love it I will be using this very often I don’t feel as irrated down there since I used this cream yesterday for the very first time I love it it’s better canasten cream I find that only works a hour for me wich is silly but this one works hours for me with I want for me to feel comfortable and less irrated would recommend it if you having issue with irrated skin and itchy ,want to protect the skin and stuff it’s great for that

Tried this product several times but cannot use it as it really burns me. Best thing I've found is plain greek yoghurt !

As a woman of a certain age lol,Ive suffered an irritation ( itching ) in an intimate part,right at the front outer area if that makes sense.Ive tried various things but nothing helped for very long,if at all.Its been ongoing for years,and itched unbearably to the point where I was clawing and scratching every day,sounds horrible I know,but thats how its been,so I researched anything that could maybe give me some relief,and this cream has been getting good reviews.It arrived today and so far so good,it seems to be helping,and maybe I'll sleep tonight without trying to ignore the irritation or scratching incessantly.I tried the other Vagisil ,the medicated one,but think this one is the best.Ok it stings slightly to begin with,nothing major and way better than the horrible itch which was driving me crazy.Hopefully this is a solution for me,and if it continues to help I'll be stocking up on it.If like me youve had this problem,give it a go,Im glad I did.Just wanted to add a bit of info,although Ive found the Vagisil a massive help,I had previously been prescribed Estriol cream by my gp and had been reluctant to use it,so my problem persisted.Ive started using the Estriol now,every day for 2 weeks and twice a week thereafter,the Vagisil really helped in the time it took for the Estriol to have any effect and I wont be without it,but the Estriol has taken effect now and I cant tell you how good it feels to have the persistent itch disappear.So as well as the Vagisil,Id really recommend that anyone reading this considers the Estriol too,I can sleep with no scratching,and thefeeling of sheer comfort is the bestever,having suffered for years and feeling miserable because of it,If you dont already use it,its worth having a word with your gp,I cant believe how much better I feel .Good Luck everyone :)
