How to join the ends? To make necklace?

You will put a clasp on, use beading wire thread on a crimp bead at end of wire, then put the wire at end through one half of clasp and back through the crimp, squad the crimp securing the wire, then put the amount of beads you require for size of necklace at thrn repeat at other end with the other half of clasp. Make sure you have cut enough wire for size of necklace. Hope this helps

Would you be able to fit a pipe cleaner through the hole?

I wouldn’t think so, I have used memory wire and jewellery thread, but they have been very thin, don’t think hole would be big enough for pipe cleaner

What size is the hole in the bead

You can get a beading neddle through the center maybe a large sewing neddle.
