I didn’t think to check and was apprehensive when I realized these needles have no flat and the shank is thin. The one I tried worked with no problem, but do take that into account. I read a suggestionto go slowly and was using with the free motion foot and dogs down. I used tiny wool batt scrap I have extra and tested with both fabric behind the wool and just the wool. Both felted the batt. This method isn’t for covering a large area, more for doing embellishment.
