Small but powerful!
I do a lot of laser engraving on the wood flutes I make. I use this one just for engraving as I have another for cutting. The K1 Mini almost too good of a job - I had to drop the power percentages to keep it from burning in too deep. And this was on hard woods like maple, Purple Heart and Gabon Ebony very nice little laser!

Excellent air assist pump!
I purchased this pump for my 10W Ortur engraver. It's very quiet and the adjustable flow allows me to set the proper pressure for the particular material. I recommend this pump if you're looking to add air assist to your laser - it's a game changer!

Could be better, but helps
It could be a little better like I said, but it does seem to help produce better results. It is reasonably quiet and has shock absorbing feet to reduce vibration. Even so, I wouldn't keep it on the same surface as the laser bed. It also has what appears to be a tripod mount on the bottom which I find curious. The included manual is brief to be kind. It's basically just a parts list and a 1 item FAQ about the air filter (it comes with 3 total). It is inexpensive and does what it is supposed to do. Also worth noting mine came with a North America adapter unlike the one in the photo.

Does not work out of the box
make sure to check your Chinese calendrer, because you will receive ZERO service on Chinese holidays.completely inadequate instruction manual. does not include files required to run in Lightburn, also there is no needed files on their website. I had to return because it would not connect to my desktop or my brand-new laptop. for the price, I would expect much more.

No operational instructions included!
You're on your own with this one!The instructions that came with the unit included the assembly instructions and a VERY brief explanation of the software. The software itself is a free software (LaserGRBL) works with the unit however you have to use "trial and error" to determine your laser intensities and speed. the software does have a database on different laser models with laser settings and speeds with different materials, but obviously the LaserTree LT80W-AA-Pro 10W Laser module is not listed in the database.Obliviously I am a beginner at this laser cutting/engraving thing, so my knowledge is ZERO with this, but I was at last hoping that I would get step by step instructions.Other things not mentioned; you'll need to obtain an enclosure with a fan and exhaust tube to evacuate the smoke from engraving wood. (filled up my work area with smoke in 5 minutes time) Another item you need is a pair of safety glasses specific for laser use.

Perfect for the Ray5 20W
This air pump was very reasonably priced and has two diameters of tubing which the smaller diameter fit perfectly to the port on the side of the Laser. While running, I like the variable power dial so you can add a mild blow to a very good blast of air through the laser path. It definitely keeps the engraving sharper with much less side burn. With the laser head fan running, this pump is extremely quiet (against that background noise).

Wish I bought earlier
I really like this laser. Plenty of work space and works pretty quick.
