Wonderful gift for a 7 year old.

My RamblingsWe do a lot of building blocks from wood & plastic to magnetic and enjoy any challenge there in. That being said, let’s take a closer look at this kit.To the Point or TL;DRThree build options. Not for young ones or beginners. Similar to several other block brands. Optional app for control, but not necessary. Good quality control. Instructions had mistake with correction sheet. And personally, I dislike needing to add stickers, but I have a tip for that.The Good StuffThese are a decent quality and fun to build. Must thank the maker for catching and correcting the mistake in the instructions and including an updated page in the booklet (taped into place). It was a good challenge for my 12 year old. Also, really nice that I didn’t need to download yet another app just to play with it. You can, but it is optional. Overall, not bad.The Tip StuffClean with rubbing alcohol and use tweezers. So anytime I must apply stickers to my plastic building blocks, I always use a cotton ball or old scrap piece of shirt to clean the piece, finger tips, and tweezers with rubbing alcohol. Let dry for just a minute or two, then use tweezers to peel sticker off backing and slowly/gently apply to piece. Once you have it placed, I rub it down gently with my finger until feel a little friction heat. Takes a little practice, but worth it. Stickers from 10 years ago are still stuck well.The Bad StuffStickers. I dislike stickers that I must add. Blah!! Also, this is not for young ones. I think it would be too challenging for a beginner or someone younger without the experience needed.Who May Use/Like ItThose who enjoy building, disassembling, and understanding structures.Me Final ThoughtsIt’s fun. Not the best or worst of what we have. Worth it? I’m on the fence.That's my story and I'm sticking to it. This stem building toy dinosaur motorcycle remote control is so much fun. There are 3 different styles of building that can be achieved with the instructions provided. This set has a lot of little pieces and more pieces than I expected there to be. It is pretty intricate and doesn't seem like it is for beginners. If it is being used for beginners, I could easily see how this could be a fun way to instill patience and responsibility as well as imagination with a child. My 12 year old put this together and said it was alot of fun, but a couple of spots frustrated him. He said that he figured them out and felt more accomplished when he did. It is fun to control and move around once all of the work has been put into building the robot. It is definitely a good quality stem building set. Worth every bit of it.

This is not for 6+, maybe 10+.Now 6+ for operating the toy but most definitely not for assembly.As an adult took me three hours just to get through three pages of the assembly process and the assembly directions are abysmal at best.

This is not made for young or new builder. It is a challenge to build. You have 3 options of build and instructions included. There is also a app for play time. There are several stickers that you have to place on it that is not convenient but it is what it is. Makes for a great gift for a detailed and patient young person. I got for my 10 year old grandson and it was way out of his league and had to have his dad help build it and show him how to use it.

So much fun! My children had an amazing time putting these together and playing with them. They work great after you put them together. Perfect for keeping little ones busy and I love how it teaches them STEAM. I highly recommend! Worth the price!

These kits are very cool! They are put together almost like Legos and then you are able to move them around and control them with a smart phone I got one for each of my nephews for Christmas, and can confirm they are "cool" approved by a 12 & 13 year old boy! They were very excited to build them.
