These are really bright and the pattern looks great even in a regular reflector housing. I have them in a 2012 focus and the low beams are pointed fairly down so I don't get flashed too often, but it does still happen. They would be best in a projector housing then I don't think I would be getting flashed at all because the projector housing points the lights better and has a better cut off for oncoming traffic. But the cutoff does look pretty good on a wall for these in their reflector housing. I can definitely see the potholes at least right in front of the car I would like to point them up further so I can see the potholes further down the road but I'm afraid too many people will be flashing me at that point. I'll probably just get some matching high beams because I just have the regular high beams still in the car that don't do much compared to these. Then I can keep these pointed low and still see really well far down the road for the country road potholes. I compared these to a lot of different less expensive ones on Amazon and these are by far much brighter.

These are the best brand of direct fit lights to get for any vehicle. They are simple to use, easy to install, great value, super bright. People tend to flash their lights at me letting me know my rights are on, and then they are very sad to find out that those are not my brights. They have survived over 2 years in Alaska for me, I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for any aftermarket lights, or brighter lights for their vehicle. They are the best I have found.

These are EXCELLENT. I have been using Hikari products for years. They have always been well-made and high-quality. These are the best! Installed in 2012 Chrysler Town & Country - the beam pattern is perfect, picture can’t describe how BRIGHT they are, I never get flashed, installation was easy, and they even come with the built-in decoder so they don’t flicker. I emailed their customer support about installation questions and they responded almost immediately. Excellent customer service highly recommend.

Best light ever made change it because my hikari 2022 hyperstart one off then went out but last me 4 years no issue

The installation for my 06 Forester was complicated but if you're mechanically inclined like me you should be fine. This LED bulb comes with a positive and negative pigtails for H1 bulbs. This is not plug and play for Subaru vehicles with H1 low beams. You will have to find a ground for the bulbs which the Subaru housing has if you flash a light into the bulb housing you will see a black wire with a copper female connector that you can remove to connect to the negative connection that the bulb has. The bulb retainer clip will be in the way so you would have to bend it to where it will clear the LED bulb. I have not tested the spread of the beam pattern yet or lifespan. But I can tell you that the bulb cap will be able to close and clear the LED bulb.

Nice bright white color. Cutoff is flat, no scatter. Will buy for my other vehicles when they need new bulbs.

Wao. Im absolutely happy with the brightness of this Hikari 2025 Darkenex H11 30,000 lumes 6K led lights. No flickering, low noise fans. I tried other brand and it doesn’t compare to this Hikari. I’ll buy the 9005 for my high beam

This 9012 LED light has two design defects, one annoying and one major. Annoying one first.The power connector is not keyed and thus can be connected backwards, in which case the light will not function. This design feature is mentioned in the manual, with a statement about the “anti-EMI function” as the reason - which does not make sense.The second issue was discovered while attempting to install this LED light – each light is two pieces, the lamp and a socket adapter – see photo. There are two major issues with this design. (1) the lamp “wobbles” in the adaptor. The precise location of the lamp within the headlight is key to proper illumination, this wobble defeats that. (2) The force needed to remove the light assembly from the headlight is much higher than the “grip” between the lamp and adapter – i.e. the adapter stays firmly in the headlight socket, you end up with just the lamp in your hand. Getting a fully seated adaptor out would be a challenge, perhaps even having to remove the headlight from the car to get access. I was able to get it out as I felt the light assembly starting to jamb when I attempted installation, upon removal I ended up with just the lamp. I was able to get just enough of a finger hold on the adaptor to back it out. At that point I visited the local auto store and bought a basic incandescent 9012 set which took all of 5 minutes to install. This 9012 LED light set is being returned.
