While not perfect, shockingly GOOD for the sub $20 price range and better than the TOZO A1s
Background:I am a person that even if you ignore the other brand Earbuds I have and like, (with TOZO … I’d say Tribit and Earfun are up there) … I have quiet the collection of models from TOZO including the T6s (both variety), T9, NC2 and 2024 NC9s, A1s, Crystal Buds and Crystal Pods, the A3s, and I have experience with the original NC9s and NC7s (I am sure I am even forgetting a model or two) . Oh yeah and the E2s (to answer my own question about the E2s in comparison to these, I will get to that later)My intial thoughts (given that I did have these before my A1s but expected about the same thing) were that the sound BLEW me away for this price .. I do admit I got these for $19.99 with a 6 dollar off e-coupon to make these under $15 (before I go on, I still say these would be worth that $19.99)… after a first walk of a few miles with the DEFAULT “flat”/”standard” EQ I tried what I thought was the best option and while usually use custom EQ settings … I tried the “Rock” Preset and after two days of that… I felt these were dialed in. JUST now I tried them again and while it’s so close to being “perfect” (so to speak…keep expectations in-check) … the midbass which IS boosted in the “Rock” preset is just a tad too much .. in the great TOZO app I pulled the first few bass sliders to A) line-up and B) are above the “zero” line but lower than the Rock preset(like I said in my A1 review, I plan on uploading my preset to the EQ Zone in the TOZO App … this gives you the ability to download other people’s EQ settings and apply them to YOUR TOZO buds with only a few clicks … VERY cool and handy) .This sound is really dialed in more to “exactly” how I like it. The only thing I may say about these vs say the 2024 NC9 SOUND … is that things seem more “refined” overall in the 2024 NC9 (crisper, more separation perhaps), but these are DARN GOODBefore I go on … Build quality, battery life (so far), and that sort of stuff … seems typical for TOZO … and that means “it’s great” … sure compared to some buds these may “feel a little cheaper” (say the T6s or 2024 NC9s) but THEY DO NOT feel “cheap”. To try to clear up confusing … with cheap QUALITY buds “you get what you pay for… what’d you expect” comes to mind … what I am trying to say is that TOZO probably cut back on these to keep the price lower but they are still a good quality earbud and case.Comparisons- I will try to keep this short but informative(any .. old classic with no app support and 32hrs advertised battery life .. .or new style “classic” or “ergonomic edition” TOZO T6):- I think the T6s (not what I said about the build quality still being good on the E1s) MAYBE a little better but it’s “splitting hairs”.- Sound Quality … hard to say since the old T6s do not have app support hence no TOZO App EQ support…. STILL . With some EQ tweaking and I mean MINOR tweaking .. they are totally in the same ballpark … These E1s to me are ALOT closer in sound to the T6s than say they are to the A1sTOZO A1s:I can legit see TOZO making these E1s the “new gen” A1s they are so close and even making a little spreadsheet of features comparing the two here, there are only MINOR differences they are so close … on paper.- what I will say is that while I am dialing in my A1s EQ a little more … they have two issues to me with the sound. A) say at 100% volume the A1s are where any other TOZO bud including these are at say 70% volume and that is an issue at times with tracks with lower volumes. NOT terrible for the A1s but just something to note. The A1s lack “body” or “richness” to me in the mids .. .at least compared to say the TOZO T6s for instance. These E1s just need minor tweaking vs the A1s they are so much like and sound so much better. I don’t feel the sound “blows me away” as much (if I forget I only paid $13.90 for these) as it did at first but it’s so good for this price range, I am nit-picking at that point. These have the punch in the low end (how much of a punch is what I am dialing in to my “perfect sound” listening to things from light jazz to rap and metal, here) that I feel the A1s lack at times. The E1s have a “more controlled “ bass to me …and without repeated tweaking of the EQ which I am still trying with the A1s .. I am not noticing that “syballant” sound on some of the tracks near the high-end. (For the record I feel I am trashing the A1s… I have no plans on returning my A1s and I do NOT “hate them” .. I just feel these E1s OVERALL are better)Fit wise the A1s and E1s may not be “identical” but without trying them on as I am typing this review I cant remember if one is better … close enough to being the same for my tastes and that is “maybe not the perfect fit but TOTALLY comfortable”TOZO E2:This will answer my own question about the E2s before I bought those. The style (even how the case opens uniquely) is really cool and I like that more than I expected. The build quality of the E2s are about the same as these E1s in my viewWhile I am still dialing things in, NOT saying things sound “100% the same” I am going off memory here to what I like and the tracks (music) I was listening to at the time. The E2s and E1s are really close and more in the ballpark of each other…. Both in my opinion sound better than the A1s which between the three models are the ones that still lack “richness” at times .. it’s like the E1s and E2s are dialed in even out of the factory, more than the A1s.------------------------------Not sure what I can say specifically that will not make this review too long and boring. I think between the A1s and E1s that are OFTEN (I got then at an identical price) about the same price…. Regular, lightning deals, or regular price + coupons … I’d totally go with the E1s, though I feel I am hating on the A1s (again these two models are SO SIMILAR it’s hard to tell them apart sometimes not counting the sound and case-shape) .. the A1s are not bad but these are just a bit better. The E2s I would not say are “a lot better” or worse than these but they are in the same ballpark … and for about $40 (not counting sales which would bring that down) … you could get both E1 and E2s.To be honest .. I have more than one pair of these E1s due to e-coupons and sales … so yes I recommend them

Affordable and Awesome – Perfect Everyday Earbuds
I’ve been using the TOZO E1 earbuds for bit now and honestly, I’m really happy with them—especially for what they cost. The sound quality is surprisingly good. Nice clear audio with decent bass, and everything sounds balanced. I mostly use them for music and podcasts, and they’ve been great. Battery life is awesome. I get around 7–8 hours on a full charge, and the case holds a bunch of extra juice. I only charge it like once or twice a week, and I use them almost daily. Bluetooth 5.3 is fast and stable—I’ve had zero connection issues so far. They pair super quickly with my phone every time I take them out of the case. They fit really well and don’t fall out, even when I’m working out or walking the dog. They come with a few different size tips, so you can get a snug fit. Also, they’re water-resistant, so I’m not worried about sweat or a bit of rain. For the price, these earbuds are a steal. They’re perfect for daily use—whether you’re commuting, working out, or just chilling. If you don’t want to spend a ton but still want good sound and solid features, I’d definitely recommend the TOZO E1.

So inexpensive you should buy them anyway
These are great. If you don't believe me, buy them anyway - they cost so little. If you don't like them, send them back. I know I shouldn't have said that, but I am confident that you will like them as much as I do. I have purchased things from this company before and they are great about warranty service. Other than that, they're ear buds, not much to add to that. I have pairs scattered across every place that I inhabit. Most of them are Tozo.

Compact, Comfortable, and Surprisingly Powerful
The TOZO E1 earbuds really impressed me. They're super lightweight and comfortable, and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. The sound quality is great with clear audio and strong bass that makes music and calls sound really good. Battery life is solid, easily lasting me through the day, and pairing was quick and smooth with no connection issues. For something this small, they pack a serious punch.
