It is a really good Technik set, did not expect it to be this good for the price I paid (discounted). Only possible downsides are a couple of instructions that need to be the other way round and the battery life could be a bit better. Otherwise, a fun toy and possibly lots of spare parts for self-builds. Build requires adult supervision.

It’s like having several toys in one, and each setup feels fresh and unique.Cons:• Challenging to Build: While the end result is worth it, the building process can be a bit tricky, especially for younger kids. Some parts require a lot of precision, and patience is definitely needed! Younger kids (around ages 5-7) may struggle with putting it together on their own.• Better for Ages 8+: While it’s labeled for ages 3-12, I’d say this toy is more appropriate for 8 and up. The media could not be loaded. Me and my son had a lot of fun building this. The box suggests this is 6+. This is correct and incorrect. It is great fun for them to play with. Building it is another thing. They will struggle to attach many parts.The set allows to build one of five models. We opted for the tank. The instructions were very clear throughout. Even colours of the boys were easy to identify. Finding the bits was sometimes a challenge. The bags were not numbered. So you tend to look for multiple bags before you find the part you need.Building was pretty easy. There were some bits that I struggle to attach. But fortunately it didn’t take too long. Short struggle. Once built, you have a choice of using the provided remote control, which needs two AA batteries or download the app. I prefer not to use the app for privacy reasons.The performance of the vehicle is brilliant. Very fast and nippy. The controls do take a while to get used to. Each side is controlled individually. So to move forward, you have to push both sticks. Pushing one, would make the vehicle spin.The motor in the vehicle has a rechargeable battery. The get the charger in is a little squeeze. Plus the cable is small. Doesn’t help. This is the only thing I would change
