Great Gift!
This was a gift for my crochet loving daughter and i’m so glad I got it for her. She loves it. She’s been adding to her repertoire weekly by referencing it and using it for inspiration. It’s a nice hardcover with detailed instructions and plenty of pics to guide everyone from novice and beyond.

Great pattern book!
Really cute book with clear instructions and well-designed patterns. My only critique would be that I wish there was more instruction for how to sew little pieces on to your project (placement, method, etc). For example, it just says “Sew the leaf on the stem.” Regardless, my sunflower turned out adorable!! My tween daughter made a mug and donut, and we’re working on some little eggs 🥰 So cute!

Such a fun book of patterns to learn amigurumi!
I'm absolutely in love with this book! I'm fairly new to amigurumi and I think this book has really helped me along this journey. There are simple patterns and some that are more complex. With every new one I learn something new about crochet. I also have the Crochet Cafe book by the same author and love it. Her patterns are easy to follow and the instructions are very clear. If you are looking to learn how to make amigurumi then this is the book for you!

Cute patterns and nice photos
I received this as a gift. It has color photos of each step as well as written patterns and descriptions of stitches. The patterns call for adding faces to each item, even the inanimate objects, but it’s easy to skip that if you don’t want faces on them. I will enjoy making some of these projects for the littles.

Review from complete beginner
Prior to this book, I had never crocheted anything in my life. I wanted to learn to crochet and picked up this book because I fell in love with the tulip and the Daisy on the cover. Just the flower patterns made it worth the purchase for me. I will say that I could have never learned to crochet using this book alone. The photos showing how to do each stitch may help someone who has a basic understanding of crochet, but I needed to go to YouTube to learn how to do the stitches. I probably did the magic circle and first round of stitches about 50 times before proceeding. Making the tulip took a lot of patience and a lot of YouTube. Still, this book isn’t advertising itself as a book to teach someone how to crochet, so I’m giving it 5 stars based on the beautiful patterns and illustrations. For a beginner, I felt the patterns were easy to read and understand. The hardest part for me was not understanding how to do each stitch, it was figuring out a comfortable hand placement and working on my tension. As I got further along into my piece, this started to improve and my hand placement felt a little more natural. I am so happy with how my tulip turned out. I plan to do the Daisy next. The author suggests using a 4.25mm hook for most of these patterns. I ended up using a 5.0mm hook for the magic circle and 1st round of crochets into the circle. I then used a 4.5 mm hook for the rest of the pattern.
