Actually, I bought this product for my husband who suffers with night leg cramps most nights. His cramps are in his thighs, and so severe that they leave bruise marks. This roll on will stop a cramp in literally seconds. The best way to use the product is to roll it on and then massage it into the entire area, because sometimes it is not possible to find the exact place that is generating the severe pain. I very seldom get leg cramps, but had an attack recently while riding in the car, and had cramps in both my legs. I massaged the Cramp911 into both areas, and the cramps were gone in less than 10 seconds. There is only one local source for the Roll-on in my area. The price at that source was exactly double what I bought it for at Amazon.com. The price is important, but not the most important thing to consider. When you are hurting as much as leg cramps can hurt, you are willing to pay whatever it takes to get a product that actually works. I also purchased a smaller size that can be slipped into a pocket, so it is always handy. The only down side to this product is that the larger size tends to leak just a little, so if you are traveling and pack it in a suitcase, be sure to secure it in a Ziplock bag. The smaller size has a threaded cap and comes in a glass vial, so the leakage is not a problem with that one.

It's easy to be skeptical about a product such as this, and the claims the company puts forth. Especially when you live in an age where the focus is on image, slick advertising and pumping out unsubstantiated claims. In this case however, it's an example of a product that does what it claims. If you get sudden cramps, then this will help you. During the night I sometimes get painful cramps in my quads and hamstrings (especially after a tough leg day at the gym). Loading up on electrolytes doesn't seem to help, nor stretching before bedtime. It's a gamble every night. I keep this right on the nightstand. When something happens in the middle of the night, I use this, and I get near instant relief. This stuff works! What's good is that it's small enough to have with you, so you can use it wherever cramps may strike.

This roll-on really works on night cramps in feet and legs, without making a big mess like some other products I've applied. It has an odd drawback, though. The roll-on container leaks in any position other than straight up. I can't just put it in my bedside drawer, because left on its side, it all leaks out. It makes a sticky mess, and it's too expensive to want to waste any of it. I can't figure out any way to take it traveling. So, I stand it up straight in a little ceramic pot on my bedside table, and it fixes my late-night cramps and gets me back to sleep quick.

At first glance, the price seems a bit high, but what no one tells you is that this product does indeed ease the pain of nighttime cramps (Charley Horse) but after a couple of applications, the cramps go away and don't come back for several weeks - in my case, about 3 months - so it's not as pricey as it seems. It's a homeopathic remedy, and I've read some controversial reports that say there's nothing to it, but I can only go my own experience, and I can honestly say, I would never again sleep without a tube of this on the nightstand beside the bed. If you have nighttime cramps, I strongly recommend that you try a tube of this. For me it's been nothing short of a miracle

While this product is expensive, I have to say it seems to work well and fast. I have intense cramps on the tops of my feet, in the toes, and in the calves which wake me from sleep. If I apply the product and massage the muscle the cramp will release in a few minutes and not return. This product does leave a bit of stickiness, but I have not noticed any odor. I have used all the Hyland’s products, take magnesium, and have tried every wacky home cure from mustard to putting a bar of soap in the sheets. This works the best. When it comes down to it, what wouldn’t you pay to be able to sleep through the night if you suffer from foot and leg cramps?

I have a neck injury that causes constant, severe neck & shoulder spasms. I've tried everything over the years and found nothing that helps ease the spasms for more than a few minutes. Then I tried this a couple of weeks ago and it really does help. BUT, the manufacturer's price is ridiculous for the minuscule amount you get (& I bought the big thirty-four dollar roll-on one). I'm lucky to get 4 applications with it (which makes it almost nine bucks per application!!!!!!). I would give it 5 stars for how well it works, but the price made me give it only 3 stars (I thought strongly about giving it 4 stars, though). Price will kill this fine product if the manufacturer doesn't lower the price to be more comparable to other name brand OTC rubs. The amount in the bottle really is laughable to be OTC (name brand prescription ointments look dirt cheap up side this). Hopefully the manufacturer drops the price drastically.
