Quality fan that will most likely outlive me.
If you are someone that strives for the best quality fans & want to squeeze the most out of your PC then Noctua is the answer. Although the price for these are on the high end when buying PC fans, the material quality & noise level make up for it.I run my fans on Full blast & still don't notice the noise unlike various other brands I've tested. I wanted an improvement on case temperature & GPU temps during gaming & these are the ones that work best with my case (NZXT H9). Under full-load I dropped my GPU temps by around 5C & surprisingly saw a decrease in my CPU temps as well. I eventually plan on having only noctua fans in my system because the performance and power is hard to beat.If you want the best longevity & lowest Temps & have the money to spare, you will not be disappointed.

I'm my opinion the best computer fans you can buy
I'm extremely please with these fans. I replaced my CPU cooler fans with these and they are far less noisy while pushing far more air. This has made my rig quieter even at high load because the fans are more efficient and don't need to spin as fast as others to maintain the same temp.

So worth the price
I literally cannot give these fans enough praise. Noctua took the world's best computer fan and actually managed to make it better. I have 8 G2 140 fans inside my workstation and it is almost silent at full tilt. The Gen 2's move more air than the Gen 1's while being quieter. Frankly, it's a miracle.

Performance and Noise Ratio is Unmatched
Expensive 140mm fan but the quality is there. I used to use NZXT rgb fans but grew out of the rgb hype and going solely for silent gaming and this is it. Officially converted to a Noctua user for future builds.

Absurdly quiet, 20mm makes a BIG difference!
If your application calls for either 120mm or 140mm, get a 140mm fan - a "big fan slow" moves as much air as as a "small fan fast" at a lower volume. Noctua takes that up to 11.These are so quiet that I thought at first I forgot to plug them in. They are effectively silent up to 60%, at which point they become barely audible - and a sort of low, pleasing "hum" rather then a shrill "whir".They have no problem moving large volumes of air. The included accessories are top-notch: the Y-cable, fan extension, radiator gasket, anti-noise pulls, etc. are all top-tier and included in the box. You'll have to pry these fans away from me!Edit: my PSU fan was getting a little noisy - Noctua to the rescue! So much quieter, for only a small amount of effort.

Dead silent.
Before this, I was running iPPC-3000 PWM fans to compensate for my very hot case. Now I have a high airflow case, and those were like having a tornado in my room. These are silent and work just as well. Don't bother with the silicon plugs they offer as a screw alternative, they don't do a good job of holding the fan in place. Cables could be longer and daisy chaining would be nice, but both of those issues are handled by the accessories in the box so I can't complain too much.Other brands are just starting to catch up to where Noctua was a decade ago. This fan proves that they're still well ahead of everyone else, if you're willing to pay.

Noctua 140mm SSO2
I bought this fan hoping for quiet operation, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. Even at just 900 RPM, it’s noticeably loud — the noise is clearly audible in a quiet room and gets annoying over time.I’m not sure why, but I have 120mm fans running at the same RPM that are much quieter. This fan might be reliable, but in terms of noise, it’s definitely not suitable for a silent build. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re aiming for a quiet setup.
