These are big pieces of hard candy, even larger than one of the more popular brands of 'old fashioned' hard candy. The bag has a zip top opening making it easy for resealing. The candy itself tastes great. It isn't strong peppermint like a breath freshener type of candy. It is sweet and minty.The candies texture is perfect, crunchy and fresh and they last quite a while if you can control biting your hard candy.

Compared this to the same flavor I have from another company I usually purchase Claeys through and the flavor tasted the same so it appears these are the real thing. The peppermint is milder than most of the traditional red and white discs though so while they are good it's maybe not my favorite.

Tastes nice. Wish it didn’t have red dye, but what can ya do. Starts off with a light, sweet flavor and then gets a little more intense (but not overly so). Bag is smaller than I expected it to be, but it’s stuffed full. I can kind of taste the red dye about half way through, but I’m sensitive to that.

Everytime I try one it takes me back to a good meal at a restaurant and the after mint that some places gave out. It’s not a spicy mint but instead a calm cooling sensation. Each piece is large and there’s a lot for a 14oz bag. Normally the 1 lb bags of candy are small but not this one.

These are really yummy. The colors are exactly how it looks on the ad. There’s a sugar coating that keeps the candy from sticking to each other and it gives it a nice, sweet flavor. It has a great peppermint flavor. It comes in a reusable ziplock bag. Great buy.

These are tasty peppermints and they last a good while in my mouth. However, when I opened the bag there was a fair amount of powder that went everywhere. Other than that - a pleasant experience all the way around.

These don’t get that spongy porous texture as you suck on them— the texture is more like a lemon drop or a cough drop. They’re milder than the red and white discs, especially to start out. The peppermint flavor intensifies after sucking off the outer layer. They’re great for the occasional treat, and the resealable bag seals well. Quality wise they’re great; they’re just not as sweet or as intense as my American palate is used to.
