It made me bleed... So it works !!!
Buckle up butter cup... This is my review & I stand by it.I've been carrying various folders for a couple of years, and have steadliy continued to find something new that tells me, just get a fixed blade. From the easily rusting (not limited to folders), pocket clips breaking or coming loose, to lint, dirt grime build up, to changes in the action over the long haul. Well a while back I broke down and got a nice Civivi Elementum Fixie... I use it for gardening and other harder tasks I wouldn't put a folder through & I love that it's always been up to all the tasks, & without any of the aforementioned issues. However, it's a rather large knife to try to carry around as an EDC. It's about 8.5" /8.75 with the sheath.. So I've been on the lookout for something smaller that I could either pocket or scout carry. While adding several options to my cart and unable to find a different specific one (Vosteed Mink - With the Sheepsfoot), I came across this one. So I dove down a couple of rabbit holes to look up info and check out reviews. Well I'm here to let you guys know.. This is the bees knees (well for me). It's only 6" from tip to the end of the lanyard hole, 6.75" with the sheath on. and it's been doing it's job flawlessly since i got it.Pros: It was sharp out the package. I was able to put it through its paces for my most mundane activities like opening mail & packages, slicing the tape on boxes, and occasionally slicing some leaves out in the garden. While the original belt clip works, I purchased some belt straps to carry it in scout position. For the price, it has been more than worth the cost. While small, it feels sturdy and for those of us with smaller hands, it's in that Goldilocks zone. Folks with larger hands, well the milage may vary.. but "should" get at least 4 fingers, unless you have Andre the Giants hands or those baseball mitt size hands. It's also extremely lightweight. I tend to carry a heavy bag full of tools, so my judgement about weight might be skewed... However, I honestly forget that I'm even carrying it until it gets bumped against something. I was pleasantly surprised that the scales are pretty grippy also.Cons: I cut myself ... smdh.. But it works lol.. The only gripe I have is the pocket clip on the sheath. It's adjustable from one side to the other, but when wearing inside the right pocket, I had to reverse the clip from how it was received & packaged (no big deal)... but it just felt awkward. Don't get me wrong, the clip worked & kept the knife secure, but for the intended use, it wasn't what I wanted... So as previously stated I got some belt straps for scout carry and couldn't be happier. It would be nice if they offered more choices for the colors of the scales, but this has no bearing on the functionality of the knife itself.I only have traditional kitchen cutlery, machetes, and the bigger Civivi to compare to for fixed blades... With that being said, I"d have absolutely no qualms in purchasing another one of these in a heartbeat.Well that's my time folks, happy shopping.

Solid, Practical, and Ready for Anything and perfect size for EDC
The media could not be loaded. I've carried a lot of knives over the years, and the Kizer Muskrat Fixed Blade Knife stands out as one of the most reliable I’ve used. The 3.15-inch blade is just the right size for a wide range of tasks, from slicing through rope to preparing food while camping. The full tang construction gives it a solid feel, and it’s built to withstand tough use without losing its edge. The handle is well-contoured and fits comfortably in my hand, even after extended use. I appreciate the balance between weight and portability – it's sturdy without being cumbersome. Plus, the leather sheath it comes with is rugged and keeps the blade secure during travel.Whether I'm out hiking, working on a project, or just need a reliable everyday carry knife, the Muskrat gets the job done. It’s practical, durable, and definitely a knife I trust to hold up in any situation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quality fixed blade.

great knife
I love this knife, I'll ear it around my neck and forget it's there. I'm giving it 4 stars because it was a little duller than I would have liked out of the box, but other than that it's amazing. I was looking for a smaller fixed blade and this was the perfect buy for that, especially at the price point and for the type of steel you get

Great edc fixie for the money
The Kizer Muskrat in 154 cm has become my weekend carry. The included kydex sheath and clip are done well. I carry it on my belt on my right hip and hardly know it’s there. The fit and finish was on point and the edge grind was even and sharp. It is my first Kizer knife but definitely won’t be the last.

Worth the price of admission!!
Took me a while to pull the trigger on this one but glad I finally did!! Great neck knife (I make my own adjustable paracord neck lanyards) and the retention, balance and geometry make for a great EDC option. Kizer quality and function. Started razor sharp out of the box and easy to maintain the edge. Highly recommend this as a first or an addition to any rotation!

Not for me. Returned.
I didn’t care for the slices in the g10 that form the pattern of the handle. They were fairly sharp and kept catching on my shirt or pants pocket. personally didn’t like the feeling of it in hand. Love the shape of the blade and handle and ergos otherwise. Good size and weight.
