Taste great
Lowenbrau is a difficult beer to find in this country these days, so to be able to buy a keg for home use was a must buy. Tastes great and an enjoyable beer to drink.

The best lager available on Perfect Draft
Lowenbrau used to be everywhere in pubs on draught in the last 80s when I first started drinking - it might even have been the first pint of lager I had, so I was gutted when it started to disappear in favour of the likes of Stella etc. Fast forward a few decades and it's back, this time on the Perfect Draft, and I'm in heaven again. For me this is the best lager generally available on the PD, narrowly beating the likes of Spaten to the title. I say generally available as the other thing better for me is the Lowenbrau Oktoberfest special edition, but that's not around all year.

Best lager
I’ve now tried a most of the perfect draft lager kegs now. This is by far the best in my opinion, rarely do you see this on sale in pubs anymore, clean and fresh lovely pint👍

Not Cheap, but Great Flavour
Löwenbräu is a great German beer known for being smooth with a subtle, pleasant, slightly sour aftertaste. Friends who prefer to drink ales seem to quite like Löwenbräu.It isn't cheap working out to close to £3 per pint, but I usually buy it directly from another site that offers discounts for multiple keg purchases which lowers the cost. The empty kegs can be returned to Beerhawk who will pay £5 for each one in beer tokens that further reduce the cost.Having tried a range of Perfect Draft lagers, I have to say that Löwenbräu is one of the best.

read instructions before buying
got this just over £30 delivered and after knocking off the £5 you get returning the empty to beerhawk = £2.45 a pint and equal or better in quality to any pint, or half pulled in a pubbut some people don't realise you need a PD machine, this isn't the same has those 5ltr kegs in supermarkets that go flat if not consumed quickly, this stays fresh for up to 30 day, not that any last that long

Cold beer
Perfect for the summer served at 3 degrees. Cheaper than other sites but you don’t get to return the keg for a discount (send them to Beer Hawk) nice fresh taste, refreshing

Awkward to use
Brilliant drink, but the keg is awkward to use. Got about half way and struggled to get more out of it
