Keen Unisex Kid's Newport H2 Sandal

Well made sandal, sadly a half size too small for me. I usually wear a size 10, but I had to reorder a 10.5 as the 10s were to small.

Arrived on time and well packaged. The sandals fitted perfectly (size 9) and are comfortable to wear across a range of terrains - I use them for dog walking in Cornwall. As I haven’t had them for more than a month I cannot comment on their robustness but they appear sturdy and well-made.

I already had a pair of these sandals. Such is my admiration of the comfort and water-happy nature of these sandals I wanted a reserve pair for when my current pair wear out, just in case they go out of production.These sandals are not cheap so you want to avoid buying them in your local shop. My first pair were on sale online with a really good saving. My source no longer exists. Hunting around, I found Amazon to be the best current value so I ordered. Upon delivery I tried them on before I put them in storage. Maybe my imagination was running wild but the new pair felt even more comfortable that my existing pair, and that’s unusual for shoes right out of the box. The label says that these sandals from American brand Keen are made in Thailand. I can tell you that the people of Thailand are experts in the production of high quality comfortable sandals suitable for exploring the great outdoors or a boat deck.

My foot size for shoes is 10½. I originally purchased these at 11½, but way too large. Returned for 10½ and they are perfect. Felt a little tight in the toe area, but that only lasted a day. I can walk for miles in these shoes and plenty of air gets to the feet.The toe covering is perfect and really prevents any nasty toe stubs. The Vibrafoam soles are rock solid and will cope with most stoney and rocky terrain.Having been wearing these as my main footwear for the past three weeks, I can vouch for their comfort, durability and style. They are true to size, so just go with your normal shoes size. The quick pull laces are great for customising just how tight you want you sandals.Keen are now my "GoTo" brand for quality footwear. Highly recommended.PS: I had been walking for a month in the Highlands with a pair of Merrill boots, but the lack of ankle movement caused severe knee pain. Two weeks wearing the Keen sandals had help the knee problem correct itself.

They’re not exactly lightweight but that’s because they’ve good tough soles, comfortable out the box. My only gripe is the insole are supposed to be odour free/protection, but after wearing all day they STINK and need a proper wash! Good value, appearance and being by Keen they have a wide toe box with toe protection. Highly recommended. Only negative is they smell!!

Second pair for my husband, we both love Keen sandals. Very easy on the feet for walking. They last a really long time, years and years. They're lightweight, have great grip which is important for me. We wear them all the time in the warmer months, good for anywhere and the colour goes with anything
