As far as tin openers go (and I must confess that this not a field of specialisation) this really is a top quality product which since purchase has been quite superb. I particularly like the fact that there are no sharp edges on either the lids removed, nor the edge of the tin. BTW unlike the three previous openers I've owned over the years, the Rosle opens the tins with ease.Regarding the seller, I must say that shipping, packaging and communication were excellent.All in all, a great product and great service.

The best Can Opener I’ve used in terms of quality and opening of cans. It’s a lot different to other openers as to how it works as the Can Opener sits on top of the can rather than the side. Love how the lids come off without any jagged edge. The can edge to is very smooth. You can fit the lid back on and achieve a good seal.

This is not just a tin opener its a way of life! Lovely to use comfortable to hold and use and leaves no sharp bits no more cutting fingers on tuna tins. Worth every penny!

Nobody seems to be able to use this in the family but me, yes it looks high quality, should do at this price! But too fiddly and stopped working(blunt) after only a couple of months. My search for a good and long lasting tin opener continues.... I seem to remember the cheapest openers worked well and forever in my childhood, have the tins changed in design.Update my search has ended, Culinare electric opener, works a dream on all cans and even my 11 year old can work it.

Does a good job of getting the lid off, but it doesn't function to the normal Rosle standard: it feels like it's not cutting and you have to go round more than a full circle, then have to go backwards a bit to get the lid clear. It turns the cut-off lid into a pseudo-lid thing you can fit back on to keep food fresh in the tin in the fridge, but that's not as useful as the thing it doesn't do, which is enable you to go most of the way round then press the lid down on the tuna you need to drain. I like it, as I do with all Rosle equipment, but unlike everything else I've got from Rosle I wouldn't buy this one again.

i bought this because it said it was made in germany and they always make really good quality goods i wasnt disappointed its got a really nice quality weight to it and it feels very sturdy i was surprised when i first used it it really does remove the lid from the can without leaving any sharp edges at all and its got a built in pliers so you can grab the can lid and pull it off i also see from another reviewer who said it has made in china writen on it well i cant see that

What can I say? You get what you pay for. Rösle always provide top quality and innovation with their products. Absolutely swear by them
