The hair absorbs it very quickly if you don’t use too much. I use a hot brush to blow dry my hair and I pop a pee size of this on my hands and glide over each layer before I dry it. If using as a mask you wash it out. It’s more like a balm then a conditioner

Do this help to grow hair

I do not know if it actually makes your hair grow faster, but I notice that it helps when I comb out my hair and makes it easier to maintain. If you have a braided hairstyle, I think using it helps to moisturise your scalp.
