My wife and I had our hopes pretty high, but had doubts as soon as we started mixing the egg powder with water by the instructions:1 egg = 1tbsp of egg powder + 3 tbsps of waterWe doubled it for 2 "eggs". Upon mixing the powder with water, the mix was very watery and whitish. We continued on in spite of it with high hopes.The result was very disappointing. The mix turned clear like grease over just medium heat. It never solidified into egg even after giving up and letting it sit on the stovetop.Not really sure what this could be used for, if anything. Worst part is that it can't be returned. They got me. I suggest you keep looking unless by some miracle you have actually made scrambled eggs with this product. If so, please upload a video and make a believer out of me.

Very strong egg flavor (yes yes I know it’s powdered egg). I bought this to use in dry mixes for a “brownie/cake in a cup” that I could take on the go and add milk or water to then microwave. It works great but if the recipe calls for a large egg (whole egg) do not use the measurements from the bag, it’s too much and the flavor is STRONG. Tweak your recipes and you’ll be just fine. Haven’t used for anything else.

I did not think that an egg product as this would tank ; well it did; I prepared the product as instructed and man it did not cook like eggs. It cooked like something was wrong with it ; I let this egg mix set on the stove for about 3 to 4 minutes and all it did was bubble up and not cook like eggs should cook. I have seen how powder eggs cook and how fast the become like scramble eggs; I was raise up cooking powder eggs and these are not powder eggs. Whatever they are this product would not cook as instructed on the box and not as powder eggs either. NOT PLEASE AT ALL !

Great item

This dry egg is currently a pantry staple for emergencies. Given the recent unpredictability, I wanted to be prepared for any potential egg shortages. I haven't had to use it yet, but it provides peace of mind. I have not used them just yet.

Like others have mentioned I was excited to try powdered eggs because of the egg shortage. The box seemed crushed and the seal was broken when it arrived. I thought nothing of it because the package inside containing the eggs was still sealed shut. The box also doesn’t explain how much water to egg ratio. It’s very vague. I used this to bake a sweet potato pie. It was my first time baking one so I thought maybe the weird bubbling and the extra long bake time was normal. Until it was baking for 30 more minutes than the recipe called for and it was oddly oily on the top. Finally I took it out because I didn’t want to burn the crust. I looked up powdered eggs not setting and it said powdered eggs that bubble and don’t solidify is a sign of spoilage. The box says these are good for another 8 months. I don’t feel safe eating the pie I made so it will go to waste like the money I spent on this product.
