You need that if you have kids
Great stapler! Especially for kids, with regular ones kids would loose staples throughout the house and it was a mess, with this one I am not worried at all about that, mess free and no need to worry about reordering staples. It’s capable of stapling a lot of pages indeed, I wouldn’t probably do that for official documents since it makes holes, but for everyday stuff it’s great!

The best, IMO
This is one of those products that you say 'wow, that is super cool but do I really need this?' And, the answer, in my experience, is a resounding YES! In fact, once you begin using this particular stapler, you really don't want to use a regular stapler again. Why? Here are my issues with standard staplers: they are monotone, they put these annoying metal pieces into your paper that keep everything from sticking correctly and they prevent you from making a booklet from a stack of paper.A booklet you ask? That's right, did you know that you can make a booklet that transforms pieces of paper into actual usable readable material? Well, with a normal stapler I was never able to perform this task, but with the Harinacs devices, booklets are possible. Check out my pictures where I have constructed a booklet from 10 pieces of paper using the same device in which you can also staple paper together.Another reason this stapler can replace the ancient piece of technology we have been using all our lives (and the 20th/21st century) is the stapling itself. I hate stapling paper because it's rather difficult and takes a quite amount of force for each staple. Plus, I am constantly worrying that the stapler will jam or that I will run out of staples at a moments notice. Both of these issues are solved with this product in that no more staples are required AND, the device rarely jams if at all. In fact, the only time in which I have jammed this stapler is when I overload it with one or two pieces of paper more than it can handle. But, even in a jam, a little wiggling usually solves the problem. Now, as for the ease of use, stapling couldn't be more easy, especially on your grip as the handle feels greased just right, and makes stapling quite pleasurable. Huh? Stapling is enjoyable? It sure is with this device as you get that pleasant feedback and sound with every squeeze of your hand. And, since you don't have to bend metal with every staple, it requires a lot less work. This translates into less hand fatigue even after stapling hundreds of papers together.OK, time for the bads, which are few thankfully. When the Japanese make a product and say it can only handle 10 pages at a time, you should believe them. Also, they made a 7 page model which I used for 2+ years with few issues. This 10 page model is actually smaller, especially in the grip. So, if you have larger hands (that say prevented you from using an iPhone back when it was 3.5 inches diagonal), you probably won't be able to use this stapler without your hands cramping. But, this is an issue I am willing to endure because the product is so good. Also, and this is a warning to everyone, paper that you staple together should only be meant for personal copies or ones which will be heavily marked up or edited. Using this stapler will completely ruin the look of the paper as it will contain holes afterwards. Finally, also in my experience, one hole punch is typically not enough, mainly because I am rough with the paper.Recommendation: Buy and buy several for your employees if you are a small business owner. The price is right at ~$10 especially because you will not have to buy any more staples. And you will be able to do something that you can't do with another stapler, have fun! ! ! :-)Pros:-Compact-Ergonomic-Fun!!-'Green'-Punches 10 pieces of paper very easily-'Staples' hold well-Can transform multiple pages into a booklet-No more annoying staples-Extremely durable even after >2 years of use-Nearly catch and jam free mechanism-Awesome color choices-Design is very appealing-Totally 'Japanese'-Saves money, especially if you use a lot of staples-Much easier on the hand to gripCons-Very Plasticy-Does not feel durable especially when comparing to older models-Requires multiple punches in order to hold-Meant for 'personal' copies only-10 hole punch model smaller than the 7, slightly less easy to hold

Staple-less
It works as advertised. I’m not sure that it’s a Better idea, although it’s a unique one.

Practical gadget
I was intrigued about this staple. I always had a small one, and I always ran out of staples so the idea of a stapleless device was wonderful. I tested it with a couples of sheets, and I can see it makes an still acceptable in size hole to make up the union. The plastic material feels strong, and is not that big so I can take it when I need it, very portable. I am a geek always looking for the gadget nobody else has, and this is definitely one of them that I can show without guilt.

You’ll feel good saving the world from paper clips, for awhile.
Three stars for the idea of not using nor needing paper clips nor staples. It holds two or three papers but only ok. I still use it sometimes because you’ll feel good.

Love my Staple-less Stapler!
I am very well pleased with my purchase of the staple-less stapler. It does exactly what it says it will. I am happy I no longer have to deal with or buy staples anymore. And no more removing staples before putting papers in the shredder! It arrived super fast!!!

Easy to use, saves me from using paper staples, environmentally friendly outcome!
Up to 10 sheets of standard-thickness copy paper can be joined together without the use of metal staples. Brilliant! Instead of crimping the paper, it punches a hole through all the sheets and then creates a tab that tucks itself through and fastens them together. If the small holes on your papers don't bother you, this device can save you from inserting metal staples in your papers. Maybe that's good because you can't recycle paper with staples in it. I can't testify to the long-term sturdiness of this tool, since I only have punched a dozen or so holes in various documents. The tool I ordered is the color turquoise, which is pleasing enough. That it is colored makes it easier to find in a desk drawer. If this item were to come in white or black I would not have ordered it because those colors would make the tool too hard to find. Environmentally friendly tool. Super tool for light office use. It would be a 5+ star item if made of metal, which I imagine would make it cost more to produce but give it a longer life.

Broke on first try!
I was super excited to get this item. Upon arrival I opened the mailer, took item out of packaging, and tried to use it on 4 pieces of printer paper. It immediately jammed and would not release the papers. I had to get scissors, cut away the paper and then spent 10 minutes trying to coax out the paper.I didn’t even try to use it again because a little spring had popped out and the mechanism was obviously broken.Totally disappointment
