I got these for my hurricane kit and to have an easy option to feed the kid fast. They were great at first: creamy, quick, and actually pretty tasty. But after sitting for a while (I live near the ocean), they started to get a little hard, probably from the moisture in the air. Still edible, just takes more time mixing and breaking up the clumps. Good to have on hand, just maybe not the best for long-term storage in humid areas.

Taste closest to homemade

These are my survival food. I can keep lots of dried or powdered ingredients to doctor them up and make each into a serious meal. I can add dried spinach, powdered cheddar, powdered cream, powdered sour cream, grated parm/romano/assiago, and whatever spices sound good. Quick and easy for a woman who does not have time to cook and clean anymore than is absolutely necessary.

Simple, tasty, and a great side dish to pack in the lunch or to have for a snack! These cups are great to pair with some of my lunches that I take to work and don't include a lot of negative things that other "convenience" foods often carry (large amounts of fat, sugar, calories, etc) - but remember, it still definitely has quite a bit of sodium (30% DV for Buttery Homestyle) for the size (each container is a serving).The taste is great from a powdered instant potato and I love adding some pepper into the Buttery Homestyle flavor. Just add water and heat for 3 minutes in the microwave!
