Terrible design. Barely works. Nothing "pro" about it.
We'll start with the "micro switch". 8/10 times it doesn't actually engage, so if you care about that functionality, your hosed, on top of that, when the switch doesn't engage, it doesn't let the pot sit flush on the heating element, which is kind of important.Next issue, the little metal cutout that the handle rests on is not cut deep enough, so even when the micro switch engages, the pot doesn't sit flush on the heating element. The only way to get the pot to sit flush on the heating element, is to have the handle hanging off to the side, which you probably don't want when you're dealing with molten metal.I don't know if this is terrible QC or terrible design, but either way, not a good product at all, would not recommend to anyone, and I have no idea how this could be labeled as the "pro" version.

This product is well made and functions exactly as described. The quality is better than I expected. I am very happy with this purchase.

Unsafe and Dangerous
I was really excited to use this lead melting pot, but after just one use, it started giving off a burning smell. The wires were overheating, and I could actually see smoke coming out! It completely stopped working, and I was afraid it was going to catch fire. I threw it out immediately. DO NOT buy this product if you value your safety!

It's really good, this time I'm giving it as a Christmas gift to my friend. She also likes this simple little guy, with a clean and tidy appearance and stable work.

Not worth
Working only two minutes, the heating element gave out completely. Worst product I’ve ever purchased.

Not good
Bought this unit to pour fishing baits, had it for couple months, used three (3) times, unit burned into, soarks flying then a small flame.Out if 1 to 10 rating i have to give this unit a 1, thats only because it looks good.

Not bad micro switch and melting
The work is real and effective. I put the lead blocks in it and wait for a while to get the melt. The micro switch is a good bonus.
