This hook is stainless and better quality than what originally came with the mixer. I love that I can safely put it in the dishwasher.

I grew up using the dough hook for the KitchenAid and always struggled because I didn’t feel like it would kneed my bread as good as by hand because the dough would just circle around the bowl. This hook is amazing for bread making. It kneeds the dough so well! Would buy again

Does not fit model KSM150 that's advertised. The cavity on the attachment is not deep enough to allow the attachment to rotate and lock in place on the shaft of the KitchenAid mixer.

Love it. Better quality than my original kitchen aid hook. Heavy and durable and easy to clean. Definitely an upgrade.

This hook kneads the dough properly, unlike the standard dough hook included with the mixer. It fits beautifully and is a solid weight. I did not need to adjust the mixer height to use this spiral hook. This has reduced the time it takes to knead the dough, and the dough does not ride up on the hook and stay there unless you make a crazy amount of dough, which I tend to. Easy to hand wash. I am not taking any chances in the dishwasher on this beautiful product. Thank you for the excellent design!
