The best lock I`ve ever used.
The numbers are large and on the front, so after a swim it`s really easy to use. Compared with other locks in the changing room this one is strong and I love the orange colour! It is chunky but fits the usual changing room lockers. You need to be careful when setting your digits as the black screw is tiny. Of course, I dropped mine on the black kitchen tiles lol. A bit fiddly but worth it as once the digits are set, they won`t change. I`ve used cheaper locks where mysteriously, the combo has moved on a digit.Although it`s probably waterproof, I`d always put a lock in a protective container to keep it dry.A first rate product so defo worth the money!!

dont listen to the negative reviews
This is a decent lock. There are comments on here that suggest that you can bypass the combination by unscrewing the setting tab on the base ( which is used to change the combination), but you first have to align the dials to the current combination before you can change it. For the money, its excellent, and in particular it is easy to read, feels nice and sturdy and is a good purchase.

Perfect for gym locker
The FortLocks Gym Locker Lock is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a reliable and secure locking mechanism for their gym or outdoor lockers. Constructed from hardened stainless steel, this lock boasts extraordinary durability, ensuring it withstands even the toughest environments. Its weatherproof design makes it ideal for outdoor use, protecting it from the elements while keeping your belongings safe. Additionally, the easy-to-read numbers simplify usage, allowing for quick access when you're in a rush after a workout. The resettable combination feature enhances security, giving you peace of mind that you can change your code whenever needed. One of the standout aspects is the requirement of a screwdriver to alter the combination, preventing accidental changes and ensuring your locker remains secure at all times. Would definitely recommend!

Great if you have poor visibility
Arrived on time and well packagedReally easy to put your own number. But you do need a small screw driver. For they removing the protective plate to change the number. Any way a lot easier than the last. You know the type, got to pull it out turn it to 90dgrees you know, you know.Well this one you don't, so easy. The numbers on it are very clear, so even when it dark you can see it easy. Not having to get the phone out and expand the view so you can see the numbers, very frustrating.Good value for money, looks good not cheap and cheerful. Have no Idea if it's water tight as it used indoors at the barn to keep my box locked, but it does get damp. No sign on any wear and tear. The weight is not heavy like some. Highly recommended for anyone

Setting the lock
Having read reviews and questions I decided to go ahead and buy 2 x 2 packs. On receipt the the locks looked sturdy and fluidly on the default setting. Looking at the bottom of the lock I thought that there was no setting leaver as described and I knew that this had been reported before therefore I proceeded to look up the answer given on the question page. Try as I might I could not reset the lock. Noting the small screw head on the base next to an orange bar I proceeded to investigate. Remove the screw over a dish of some sort so that it is not lost. The little black plastic plate drops out to reveal the setting bar which can then be slid into the correct position as shown in the photos. Setting and testing the lock is easy returning the plastic plate and screw id a bit fiddly so again, do it over a plate in case it drops out before it is secure (I managed to loose two screws and a plate before I perfected my technique). The lock will still function correctly without the plate in place but it gives security in preventing accidentally changing the combination. I tested each lock several times and all functioned perfectly. As these are being used outside on the coast. I gave them all a spray of bicycle chain oil which I had to hand (someone suggested a graphite spray). Tested locks again and all functioned perfectly. They are now in situ and I will report back in six months. The previous brass padlocks had to be removed with penetrating all or bolt cutters respectively after about that time, we shall see.

Stops working. Can't open
Crap. Worked fine to begin with, but today combination stopped working. Had to cut off. Not fit for purpose if you can't open it.
