Works well
I installed this in my 2023 Mazda CX-5 and it works well and is easy to use. It does occasionally get an error and restarts Waze. I haven't figured out if that's the unit's fault, or my phone's bluetooth. I haven't noticed it happening on any other apps though while using the TBox Lite.

Unlock the potential of your stereo
I love this little thing. It starts up fast and works seamlessly with Android Auto on my phone. The added benefit of the "3rd mode" is that this is actually an android computer on a stick. This is what will let you watch videos on your car's screen and run all kinds of apps outside of what is limited on Android Auto. While it is a cool feature it is something I only ever use while parked.First time you start it up and run updates it can take a while to restart. Just be patient it'll come around after about 10 minutes.

Setup was a little tricky, but now it works well. Occasional video glitches on YouTube.
I previously had a wireless Carplay adapter for my iPhone, but I thought it might be nice to also be able to watch videos for those times I have to wait in my car. This device is different than a plain CarPlay box in that it itself is a full-fledged Android device (it still works with Apple devices though), so using it is a bit different.Installing this wasn't quite as easy as I'd hoped; the initial pairing seemed to fail, and it took me a while to get it to pair again. I kept trying to pair though the device's Bluetooth menu, but my phone claimed that there was an error every time I tried to connect. The secret was to use the correct app "AutoKit" and connect through there. I still had to fiddle with a few settings on the dongle to get it to default to booting up in CarPlay mode, but once I figured that out it has worked reliably since. One annoying thing about using it as a CarPlay adapter though is that the device adds an extra floating "button" to the screen. You can use this to get back to the Android screen, but since it gets in the way of many CarPlay apps, I'd rather not have it (you can also get back to the Android screen by using "Car" app in the CarPlay main screen, so it's redundant). There's an option to turn off the floating button in the settings, but it doesn't actually do anything - I've turned it off and the button is still there.OK - so it works as a CarPlay dongle with a couple of annoyances, how about video? It actually has been working pretty well! One annoyance is that it can't do Bluetooth and Wifi at the same time, so turning it on will disconnect from CarPlay temporarily, but if you're watching a video, you hopefully won't be needing it. You can use a nearby WiFi hotspot, or (more likely) use your phone as a personal hotspot (it will use up your data though!) Playback was reasonably smooth on my 2018 Chevy Volt. The picture quality is mediocre (mostly because of the screen), but the sound was good, and synced with the video. A couple of times the video glitched on YouTube, but it was able to recover. Navigating videos (scrolling) is a little finicky, but possible. So overall, this seems to work pretty well. If you almost never plan to watch video, you're probably better off with a CarPlay-only box and just watching on your phone, since the CarPlay experience will be more streamlined. However, if you really want to be able to watch streaming media in your car, this is a viable alternative.

TBOX LITE 3-in-1 Upgrade Version Wireless Carplay Ai Box
I recently upgraded my car’s infotainment system with the TBOX LITE 3-in-1 Wireless Carplay Ai Box, and I’m overall impressed with its performance and features. Here’s a detailed look at my experience:Pros:The TBOX LITE definitely scores high on style and quality. The sleek design of the unit looks modern and integrates well with my car’s existing setup. The ability to wirelessly connect to Carplay and Android Auto is a fantastic upgrade from the wired system I had before. The 2GB RAM and 32GB storage provide smooth performance, and the Allwinner A13 chip ensures that apps like Netflix and YouTube run seamlessly on my car’s touch screen. The installation was straightforward, and the unit connects reliably, enhancing the functionality of my infotainment system. The wireless features are a big plus, eliminating the need for cables and reducing clutter in the car.Cons:However, I have found the setup and navigation a bit confusing. While the functionality is excellent once configured, getting everything set up initially was a bit challenging. The user interface could be more intuitive, and it took some time to understand how to optimize the settings and access all the features effectively.Overall:Despite the initial confusion with the setup, the TBOX LITE 3-in-1 Wireless Carplay Ai Box has been a valuable addition to my car. It combines good looks, high quality, and excellent functionality, making it a worthy upgrade for those looking to modernize their car’s infotainment system. If you’re willing to invest a bit of time in understanding the setup, this device is a fantastic choice for enhancing your driving experience.

I really wanted to like this
It was way more complicated to get this hooked up than I thought it would be. Once it was all setup I didn't really like it. I didn't like the format of the screen and it was not intuitive or user friendly.

Awesome product.
This wireless android auto/carplay dongle is very good. It took a little while to set up but overall it's very easy to install, especially after the first set up. It comes with Netflix,Disney+ and YouTube preinstalled and they work seamless. It has a micro SD slot and has built in storage, and also has a USB slot for a thumb drive. The dongle seems to have a lot of features that I have to explore further. Overall this dongle does exactly what it's meant to do and is a great value for the price.
