Excellent
Probably one of the best books I’ve read this year. The jury is still out. I’ll keep this short and sweet.Top notch banter, dry humour, sarcasm and cynicism. My favourite kind of humour. The only drawback to this book is that is a bit long winded and as lovable as Calla is(FMC) she kinda got on my nerves towards the end of the book.Row takes the cake. An amazing job at character development. I’d read this book all over just the bits where he is featured because he is brutal and I loved every second of it.Picky reader recommended.

amazing
I absolutely loved this storyline, it felt so different to most others, yes there was a 3rd act break up but she was the one to initiate the break up due to her fears, he fell fast and hard and had always loved her.It follows Calla (Cal) who asks her best friends brother to take her V card, what she didn’t expect to happen was to have her best friend Dylan to come and witness it, Cal was heading of to college and leaving her small town and she felt as though she needed that, Cal and Dylan’s friendship was finished and she hurt Row when she dismissed him. 4 years later she’s back in her hometown because of her fathers passing, Dylan is now pregnant, and Row is still himself, brooding and dark. Cal makes amends with Dylan and her relationship builds again, what she doesn’t expect to happen is the snowball affect with Row, things get out of hand when he assures her they can keep things a friends with benefits but neither want to admit their true feelings. This book was so perfectly written and I usually find the 3rd act breakup a bit boring and same old, but this break up felt needed, it felt at though Cal needed to leave to understand her feelings. The mix of emotions in finding out both Callas and Rows back stories was heartbreaking, and I absolutely can not wait to see what book 2 wildest dreams will bring. LJ Shen was a new author to me from this book and it did not disappoint.

Love it 😁😘😍
This book had so many emotional roller coasters. Great writing, such a beautifully written story. Loved the characters especially the main man. He gave her the room to grow and believe in her self. You don't get that much in real life. Though I have no experience of it. Kinda knew what was happening but I loved it. Such a cute read when I can't sleep.

not a bad read, very spicy
Fairly good plot and writing, enjoyable read. On the spicier side so not for the squeamish. 3.5 stars from me.

Totally unexpected...
KU Read 500+ PagesForbidden LoveBest Friends BrotherSecond ChanceEnemies to LoversGrumpy x SunshineI had no idea what I was reading before I started this book, I hadnt even read the blurb so went in blind. I loved it! It is one of this books that feels both epically long but also too short cos I don't want it to end either. The epilogue is the main characters in their late teens/early 20's and then cuts to 4 years later and the havoc that is their lives at that point. The FMC is quirky, witty and very damaged but so endearing too. I loved Cal from the get go and totally related to her too.The MMC Row was an as from day one and lived up to it wonderfully cos it was so clear how gone he was and it was all a defence mechanism... He deserved his HEA as much as Cal did too.The biggest hype for me in this book tho is the witty banter... I totally laughed out loud a few times and so want to be Cal and Dylan's bestie cos they are awesome.
