Best “Lego” set ever!
I got this set as a present for my boyfriend for his birthday and he said it was so fun to build and was a great value for the money I paid! He said the gun was real life sized and was great build quality. Will be buying this “Lego” brand again!!!

Not functional, over priced
I'm not bothering to include a picture with this review as it basically looks like the picture on the store page. As for the product itself, it is over priced, doesn't function after building, and the box and instructions have no info in english so you can't contact the manufacturer about missing pieces (which there were). The assembly would have been decent if these pieces had some sort of quality control, but they are all over the place. There are many, many pegs that are used in this set, in many instances where you are connecting 2 or more pieces with 4+ pegs, and the pegs do not want to fit in without a lot of struggling. Some of the cross type long pegs are so tight that you almost can't get them thru the pieces they run through. I almost had to get a hammer at one point to tap it in. Other pieces are so loose they won't stay together until connected with other pieces. I was missing 2 major pieces, but with no way to contact the manufacturer I ended up raiding the pieces from other sets. And finally, once all is assembled, it barely functions at all. At best, a quarter of the time I can get the very first "round" to fire and eject the "casing". Then the second shot just jams up in the gun and clip, the rest of the "rounds" go off in the clip, you empty everything out, reload, and try again. And that's the best results. The rest of the time it jams up and won't even fire and eject the first shot. And that's if you can get the clip loaded without setting off the shots in the first place. And they are trying to charge $70-100 for this mess. Way over priced in my opinion. All in all, unless you are looking for a decorative piece, this set is too much a mess and too low quality for what they are asking for.

Frustrating build
My husband got this for himself, and while the design is impressive, the instructions were awful. They were unclear and made the build way more frustrating than it needed to be. With 1,468 pieces, that’s not exactly ideal. He eventually figured it out, but it took a lot longer than expected. The finished product looks cool, but the assembly process was definitely a headache. If you’re not patient, this might not be the best choice.

Not Worth it.
I'll say this straight up, this is not worth $70. It has a lot of cons, in my opinion outweighing the pros I'll list all the pros and cons anyway if for some reason you really want to buy this.Pros:Looks absolutely GREAT.Feels nice holding it.It's pretty big, over 3 feet long. The scope is somewhat functional, working like a magnify glass of sorts.Overall, pretty sturdy and strong. The stickers are so smooth and easy to apply, better than ANY sticker I've ever dealt with before in modular builds. The brick separator is better than LEGO's in my opinion. The charging handle, slide, and ejection feature are all very nice.Cons:Barrel can bend and look funky.Brick quality is lacking.Unnecessarily hard to put some pieces together.Scope can fall off easily at times. The "rail" on the top is built poorly, the piece under often not holding up and it's hard to get anything under to try to push the piece upwards against the downward force of pressing the railing on, falls off easier than the scope. The stock's rails aren't sturdy, easily bendable and I'd assume would break under too much pressure.Tried taking out a pin and the technic piece just snapped in half.Back to lacking brick quality, some pieces are SO hard to put together, would NOT recommend anyone below 14 tries to build this, a huge risk of breaking pieces with tension at times.Oh god the magazine. It's not very sturdy, can fall out easily, sucks in general. The magazine release barely works. The pieces which get ejected out the slide sometimes form too much tension and need to be manually removed.Straight up missing a piece for the magazine that wasn't even listed in the instructions.Easy to confuse parts and swap them around by accident.Shells are too sensitive and set off very easily, leading to it being almost impossible to get in the magazine without them being set off.Honestly I could keep going and going with the cons. The only reason this is a 2 star is because of how great it looks. Also worth mentioning the horrible bagging, all the labels being wrong with instructions, the first "bag" requiring you to open... All the bags. Instructions are also very easy to mess up at times.Overall would NOT recommend and it's better to save that $70 unless you REALLY want a specifically brick built M14 EBR rifle in your collection.
