Might take a minute to work out the bugs
The stereo head unit looks great, fits perfectly in a Jetta Mk5, and makes a nice upgrade from a broken stock unit. The unit doesn’t come with detailed instructions for each model car, but it’s still fairly easy to install. It came with multiple wiring harnesses and was mostly plug n play. The sound quality is acceptable or better. I’ve had some popping noise at higher volume and bad Bluetooth connections due to weak cell signal. There’s no user manual and you’ll have to figure it out yourself. The Bluetooth connection sometimes gets lost or totally disconnected. My car required a dual antenna connection and it was provided by the after sales team. The backup camera didn’t work with the engine running and it took a rectifier to correct the problem. This was also supplied by the after sales team.Overall, it took a couple months to get everything sorted out. There was a certain amount of runaround involved with getting the issues resolved, but a little persistence worked. It’s a great value for the money if you’re willing to work with it. And work for it…The VW canbus signal in the 12v power made an easy hookup problematic in my case.

Great Buy!
Much better than factory. Not only do now have CarPlay but it works faster than other newer vehicles. Connects Bluetooth/wirelessly to CarPlay before most screens load. I was hesitant due to some reviews and how inexpensive this was compared to others but so glad I got it. Only the first day but turned it on/off 20 times and no issues at all connecting. Very impressed with this purchase.

For the price it’s pretty good
The media could not be loaded. Was a bit confusing to install at first but doable.overall pretty worth it for the price the one downside is that u have to manually turn it off and on and it still connects to my phone when it’s off so idk if it’s a wiring issue on my part or the head unit but overall its pretty good

Impressed
I am very impressed, to be frank I had low expectations for this head unit in my 2015 Jetta. The longest part of install was YouTubing how to remove the radio. The finish is nice and the display looks very nice. Paired with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay immediately worked. Glad I chose this.

Eh, i wouldn’t recommend
Easy set up, looks/ fits perfectly in my vw jetta 13.. but it glitches, has bluetooth connection issues, sometimes the volume for carplay goes off and you have to mess with it and when that starts happening the whole system will start getting slow, the buttons would stop working, cant even turn it off and id have to disconnect the whole thing from the back wires. Returning it soon.

Worth what you pay for it.
Product is built well for the price. Installation was surprisingly easy with OEM plug and play connectors. No wire splicing! Rear view camera is a very crisp image. Even better than some factory installed rear cameras I have seen. It works (mostly) I would give this 5 stars if the Android operating system wasn’t so unstable. Sometimes slow to respond. Occasionally freezing and requires pushing the reset button to restart system.

Needs Configuration to work with premium sound and rear camera
Once I got it installed I found I couldn’t get enough volume. Apparently this was because my car has it’s own amplifier. What I found is, if you have the VW premium sound with an amplifier, you need to connect the 2 wires in the harness labeled “amp”. One is in the RCA harness and the other is in the power harness. You then need to go into the “car settings” and click the selection for “enable external amplifier”. It may then be too loud. If so, try disconnecting the battery for about 5 minutes.I also found that it needed to be configured for the rear camera I purchased. I purchased a rear camera that replaced the VW emblem. It would work once when the radio was first powered, give a distorted view the second time it was put in reverse, then say no signal. The answer was to go into the factory settings pw 1234, and find Backcar Source settings. CVBS worked for my camera.
