Works
Pretty hefty true to descriptionThey say 2-3 of these fir a 50qt cooler for 3 days4 for 4 daysI went w 3 in a 52 qt moderately insulated cooler; my Orca is the same size but 26 qt so double thick wallsI put them in the cooler on a Monday afternoon and Thursday afternoon around consistent 70° for that whole time. It was still fairly cold. My food was cold. I put beers in there that were room temperature and they actually got cold so you know depending on the cooler size and thickness will dictate how long they last but they did pretty good. I was impressed once you fill them don’t ever empty them. They have gel inside leave the gel inside. Fill them with water shake it up freeze them and then just keep it closed forever refreeze them as needed. I’m happy they work well and I need my food to stay cold for a few days every other week at a time so very nice. They probably would last a week and my orca few days in your average maybe an inch and a half thick wall cooler.

surprisingly cold and long lasting.
Pretty impressed with these. I put just 1 into a insulated soft case cooler with a towel to protect the produce I took to camp for 6 days. The case was still cold on the 4th day. And by that time my produce was down to the last items that didn't need to remain really cold. Weather warmed up on those last days so it held up real well considering it was just 1 pack and a thin soft case cooler. I have yet to put these to use in a camp cooler for a 5 or 6 day mission. I rely on 2 large (80+oz) juice containers filled with water and frozen solid. I need ice to last a week or longer while I am out in the mountains. Not quite ready to try these for those longer missions. During the winter, these should perform quite well for keeping the cooler cold for 5 or 6 days. These ice packs have been useful for shopping. Take up little room in the cooler. Kept food items cold during summer shopping missions. And with the cost of food... its totally worth the effort and time to make sure items stay cold till you get back home.As I continue testing these I will update as the year gets closer to its end. My hope is that I can use these for shorter camp missions and maybe 5or 6 day missions during late fall/winter.

Stays Cold for a Long Time!
Top tier ice substitute! When used in a quality cooler with one of these at the bottom and another over the top (along with some thin gel style ice packs along the sides) will easily give you multiple days of cooling performance.Be aware that you will have to fill these up with water and mix with the cooling particulate (already inside the ice pack). This is very easy to do; just fill up the ice pack to just below the "cap line," secure the cap, and then shake vigorously to properly mix everything together; then, it is ready for the freezer. It may be more expensive up front, but ice packs like these will quickly pay themselves off when you don't have to buy bags of ice from the store anymore!

Great buy!
I was looking for a reasonable priced ice pack to be used in large coolers when traveling or when driving a longer distance with refrigerated groceries. This two pack of ice packs are a great size and fit well into the freezer. They were easy to fill with water and froze quickly once put into the freezer. I did leave them in a warm empty cooler for almost the whole day and they were both still cold when I put them back into the freezer. One was completely frozen still while the other one could be heard sloshing. Overall I think that they will do great keeping your cooler cold for a long time. They are also a great color which makes them easy to find in a chest freezer. Great buy and a great gift to give someone.

Cold and durable but not easy to carry
I bought these because I cold plunge every day and do not have a refrigerated tub. I have another set from another manufacturer which I like but they are smaller and I selected these because they are about 1 LB larger per pack. In the product description they show these packs being run over by a jeep. I probably will never do that but they do seem very durable. They do the job for what I need and, who knows, I may even use them in my cooler too. If I had a complaint about these it is that the grip hole is as pictured and you can only get a couple fingers in to carry them. The carry holes are larger on the smaller packs I have and make it easier to transport them back and forth to the tub but if you were just using these for a cooler and it went from the freezer to the cooler it would not much matter. Not sure if I would buy again because of the hole size but the cooling part is great. Oh, one other thing that I liked about these is the filling with water. On other packs you are required to measure the water and use a crappy little paper funnel to fill them. On these you just hold them vertically and fill them up under the faucet to the bottom of the fill hole and that's it.

Keeps cooler cold
I read a lot of reviews to help me choose these ice packs. The reviews helped because I picked these, and they were right for what I needed. I needed them to last over 24 hours on a road trip, and they did. It was nice not to have melted ice or warm items in the cooler. I would recommend these ice packs for the fact that it stayed cold and frozen for the time period I needed. I use them now for smaller time period they keep everything cold. DS

Better and Safer than dry ice
I read all the reviews before purchasing this product and I was a little skeptical. That skepticism went away after using this product in my cooler as check baggage. I flew from New Orleans, LA to Anchorage, Alaska. I flew with meat. Total travel time was about 12.5 hours. The meat was still frozen solid!!! Also, there was no sign of these ice packs beginning to melt. I was impressed. Everyone kept trying to get me to use dry ice. I didn’t want to hassle or the caution required in using dry ice.I have confidence in doing this again with these ice-packs. I assure you they are worth the money. With free checked bags, I saved a ton of money using my cooler and these ice packs. There was no mess at all and it was super easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

Will freeze the water in your cooler
These ice packs are the best ones I have ever bought. They will freeze the water in your cooler you just have to replace them about every 18 hours. I wish they made smaller ones for my other cooler. Definitely worth buying
