Easy to set up & use!
The Bamboo Spout & Pump Fountan Kit makes setting up a small backyard fountain very easy. It creates a pleasant, relaxing sound. This is the third one purchased over about the past fifteen years. The pumps tend to wear out after several years. The bamboo holds up very well. Also, the birds seem to like the water movement!

Very Nice Accent Piece
The media could not be loaded. Thoroughly impressed! You can really tell that this bamboo is high quality as it feels like it will last for a very long time while still being light weight. I really like the size and height adjust-ability. The water splash is to be expected from a spout like this, maybe not a great fit on a smaller pond. My pond in the video is about 24" in diameter and the splash is fine with the power turned down a wee bit and the spout at about half of its max height. Cleaning will come easily with the removable guard on the pump!Keep in mind that in my video, I have the flow is adjusted to 75% of the full power.

Nice addition to stock tank
The media could not be loaded. easy to set up, comes with pump. makes a nice sound. video attachedI wanted something easier than arranging rocks to make a waterfall. I still needed some rocks and am using another pump for the chute and to attach to the filter. this is in a 240 gallon stock tank with fish It would work very well as part of a smaller water feature, like a pot or smaller barrel

Lovely, Authentic Japanese Fountain
I love this bamboo fountain!. I lived in Japan for 31 years, and after moving back to California, wanted to make a Japanese garden on one side of my house. I have a planter on a covered patio where I planted a Japanese maple tree, and wanted a Japanese-style fountain to produce soothing water sounds. I found a nice ceramic bowl on sale at Lowe's, and after patching up the holes on the bottom, easily set up the fountain. The Japanese-style solar lantern is also from Amazon. The bamboo screen is from Daiso. I've had it for nine months and the pump still works perfectly. There is no on/off switch, so I have to plug it in when I want the water sound when I'm relaxing on the patio.

No adjusting water flow. Fast, loud, and messy.
I’m giving it three because it’s cute. Otherwise, it’s not worth the price. The pump is ok but I had to plug and unplug (per their suggestion) it several times before water started flowing. Same when restarting. My biggest disappointment is that there is no change in water flow. It is full speed and splashed water everywhere. I took some water out hoping it would help but meh. Not really. With the full speed running water, it is not really very relaxing and sprays water everywhere.

Love this little bamboo water feature!
This was very easy to put together and we all love the gentle sound the water makes. I've tried several set-ups using the galvanized tub in these photos. The first one with nothing but water and decorative black rocks. This made the most sound but it's not loud by any means. Second photo with round crock and a round glass plate for the water to fall on. I had hopes the birds would be attracted to the sound of the water. I put the grape jelly on there to attract my orioles to the water feature while they dined. Third one is my favorite and prettiest. My sister made the ceramic plate the water is falling on and it's held up by the same small round crock. I've cleaned the whole thing a couple of times as the rocks, water intake tube, and insides of the tub get sort of slimy but it's easy. The little pump is great and cleans easily by running clean water over it, and if necessary, using an old toothbrush to clean any debris caught in the intake. There is a tiny bit of mold on the bamboo which surprised me. All in all, despite the somewhat high cost of something like bamboo I love this little water feature.

You can vary the intensity of the sound . . .
by adjusting the height of the arm and/or placing various small rocks and stones underneath the falling water. as easy to assemble as everyone has said. You can adjust the height of the arm by raising or lowering it then holding it in place with the peg provided with the fountain.Charming. I have it sitting in my lanai on the edge of a large flower pot with some rocks and stones inside. The pot is about two feet high but I filled it with water only half way up to avoid splashing water on my floor. I can adjust the intensity of the sound to a soft background trickle or increase the intensity of the sound by moving the rocks and/or the fountain arm around so it is loud enough to hear when I am sitting on my patio. The pump can also be adjusted to maximize or minimize the amount of water flowing through the fountain. The bamboo is nice looking, as is the fountain. I actually wanted a deer chaser fountain but I didn't want to spend the $90 to get it. This bamboo fountain is more satisfying than I expected it to be. I wanted the restful sound of flowing water, and this little fountain has given me exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price.
